The road conditions on Matcha Mountain are easy to walk, but the disadvantage is that there is no shelter along the way, and the distance is long. We started at 8:30am from the Church we reach the trail head around 9:30 to 10:00 am Then we reached the top around 2:30-3pm in the afternoon overall that was a really nice experienced. When I came to Jiaoxi, Yilan for tourism, I saw this Yilan-only Xihuhui Fresh Food Supermarket. Although it is just an ordinary supermarket, it is a unique and limited one, so it must be very special. You must come and visit it. #createwithtrip Introducing one of my favourite little Hot Spring Hotel in Jiaoxi, Yilan Province. I stayed in this wonderful little hotel when I travel from Taipei to have some relax time. YISU Hotel is located at 51-1 Wenquan Road, Jiaoxi. It is at a very convenient place, about 2 minutes walk from the train station and very easy to find. This little establishment is so cute with a very big teddy bear as their mascot at the check in lobby. Almost all the hotels here have natural Hot Spring setting. You can relax in your own bath tub and the water is drawn from the underground hot spring water. All the Hotel Spring water at Jiaoxi is sodium bicarbonate water which is Rm rich in magnesium and odourless. It is very refreshing and nice. In fact ones can enjoy hot spring everywhere in Jiaoxi, including the gardens and parks, most are free of charge. That’s why I love really this little town and been back many many times, especially it is only less than 45 minutes drive away from Taipei.

#spas Fantastic Spa in Jiaoxi I went to on a solo trip which turned out to be the highlight of the whole trip. It’s a clubhouse named Sui Spring Retreat And Spa which is also open to the public, u can buy a day pass which includes a set meal and use of the Spa (u can choose outdoor or indoor) for 4 hours if I remember correctly. I am glad I chose the outdoor one. There was one cold pool n three hot ones with different temperatures. And I was the only person using them as I think it was off peak. Maxed out the four hours changing from hot to cold and vice versa 🤗. The set dinner was great almost like fine dining. The server introduced every dish that he served 👍🏻 Best day of the week!

Today, we visited Zhan Zhi Xiang Original Seafood located on the main road. Despite being on a main road, Jiaoxi isn't very crowded, making it spacious and even offering parking spaces in front of the restaurant.
