Broadway Lights and Iconic Sights: My Unforgettable New York Adventure!
#summerdestinations
Just got back from an unforgettable trip to New York City, and I’m still on cloud nine! 🗽 This city truly never sleeps and has a vibe that’s both exhilarating and inspiring. One of the highlights of my trip was finally seeing the Statue of Liberty up close. Standing there, looking up at this iconic symbol of freedom, was a surreal experience that I’ll never forget. The ferry ride itself offered stunning views of the Manhattan skyline and the perfect photo ops!
Another magical moment was catching a performance of the Chicago musical on Broadway. The energy, the music, the performances – everything was spectacular! 🎭 The talent on stage was mesmerizing, and the show’s choreography and classic hits had me tapping my feet and singing along. It’s a must-see for anyone visiting New York.
I also got to enjoy the tranquility of Central Park, took in the breathtaking city views from the Top of the Rock, and walked across the Brooklyn Bridge at sunset. This city has it all – from iconic landmarks to cultural gems and world-class dining. I’m already planning my next visit. If New York isn't on your #summerdestinations list, it definitely should be!
Statue of Liberty, USA
It was a great experience overall. Took a fiery from New York city. It was a 20 minute ride to the Statue of Liberty island. It’s a great attraction for tourists and you can get lovely photos with the city skyline as well. We stayed there till sun set and managed to get great pictures with lovely views. The staff was friendly and it makes a perfect day out with friends and family. #statueofliberty #usatrip #newyork
Interesting science Center
#newyortrip
The center does not offer many scientific experiences and it is mostly for kids. 30 dollars is definitely too much considering that most of the attractions inside require additional tickets. However, the planetarium is beautiful and it is definitely worth the 8 extra dollars. In general I would not recommend this to adults without kids.
If you are looking for a weekend place for kids then this is the place.
Location: near New York City, in jersey city.
Parking: avail, $7 fee
Activities: a lot of movies, live shows, and games.
Restaurants: 2-3 options inside the building.
Relax on a cruise ship IN NYC
#newyortrip
Was on a Princess cruise en route to Halifax . Cruise ship was cruising by the famous New York City Skyline and of the the Statue of Liberty and not forgotten the Brooklyn Bridge
New York City skyline was one of the most amazing and beautiful in the world I have seen . A view of the New York City skyline from the sea is a stunning view which I highly recommend
Stroll Through Time: Hudson River's NJ Highlights
My sojourn along the Hudson River in New Jersey was a delightful mix of history, urban beauty, and serenity. I began at the Colgate Clock, an imposing testament to the region's industrial past. With each tick, this gargantuan timepiece seemed to narrate tales of time gone by.
The riverside walkway led me towards the iconic Newport Green Park Pier. As I ambled along this pier, the cool river breeze gently toyed with my hair while the captivating Manhattan skyline across the waters painted a splendid canvas of urban grandeur.
Further down, the Hudson County Korea War Memorial stood as a hushed tribute to valor and sacrifice. Its starkness, set amidst verdant environs, added a sense of solemnity to my journey.
This riverside stroll, encompassing historical landmarks and nature's charm against an urban skyline, truly celebrated New Jersey's rich tapestry.

Journey to uncover the Statue of Liberty
Taking the daily cruise to see the majestic Statue of Liberty 🗽 A must-go activity when you visit NYC. Cruise scheduled to leave at Pier 36 daily and I’ve bought the ticket online to avoid disappointment.
The Statue of Liberty is a colossal neoclassical sculpture on Liberty Island in New York Harbor in New York City, in the United States. The copper statue, a gift from the people of France, was designed by French sculptor Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi and its metal framework was built by Gustave Eiffel. The statue was dedicated on October 28, 1886.

"On September 11, 2001, the twin towers that had been close to the river disappeared, leaving only the empty sky. The freedom, tolerance, and pursuit of happiness were all attacked. This monument is to commemorate those New Jerseys unscrupulous innocent relatives who were violently murdered, those who died in the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and Shanksville, Pennsylvania. The gap between the
double-wall monuments was once the landmark twin towers of New York. . However, at this moment, the sky is empty. The name of each victim is engraved on the monument. This is a tragic past in American history.
But here is also a place for children to relax. There is no memory of 911 in their minds. The wounds will eventually be calmed down, and the new students will represent hope.
Recommend a niche place to enjoy the New York Manhattan skyline, which is the Free State Park in New Jersey, with fewer people and beautiful scenery!
Park parking spot
Playing in a big city like New York, although self-driving is convenient, parking is a headache. So many people choose to travel by public transportation. Since we are a transit and have a lot of luggage, self-driving is the best choice. Another advantage of choosing to play from the state park is that parking is very convenient and free.
Two free parking locations in the picture below:
1. SP+Parking: This parking spot is located in a small park next to Free State Park called Flag Plaza. The parking here is more abundant than the Free State Park, from which you can walk along the river (around 7km)
2. Kids Play area(Free car parking)

The Statue of Liberty: More Than Just a Statue
#libertystatue #nyc #historicallandmarks
The Statue of Liberty, a towering symbol of freedom and democracy, stands majestically on Liberty Island in New York Harbor. This iconic landmark, a gift from the people of France to the United States, was dedicated on October 28, 1886.
Designed by the renowned sculptor Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi, the statue depicts Libertas, the Roman goddess of freedom, holding a torch and a tablet inscribed with the date of the Declaration of Independence. The statue's copper skin has weathered over time, giving it a distinctive green patina.
The Statue of Liberty has long been a beacon of hope for immigrants arriving in the United States, symbolizing the promise of a new life and opportunity. It continues to inspire and captivate visitors from around the world, serving as a reminder of the enduring values of liberty, justice, and equality.
Cruising to the Iconic Statue of Liberty 🗽🚤
One of the highlights of my NYC trip was cruising to the Statue of Liberty. There’s something surreal about approaching this iconic monument by boat, with the Manhattan skyline in the background. The ferry ride gave me a unique perspective of both the statue and the city, capturing the essence of New York’s rich history and resilience.
Standing at the base of Lady Liberty, I could truly appreciate her grandeur and what she symbolizes—freedom, hope, and a new beginning for millions. The views of the harbor and the city from Liberty Island were absolutely stunning, making it a picture-perfect moment. If you’re in New York, this cruise is an unforgettable experience that combines sightseeing with history.

A Grand Statue
#100waysoftravel
The sheer grandeur of this statue is awe inspiring. A guided tour will be the way to go as you'll find it historically enriching. The climb can be challenging but once you're there, you get a stunning view. The museum is well managed and adds to the appeal of this sight.
Make sure you book your tickets in advance as they tend to sell out quickly. The ferry ride offers gorgeous views. A few pointers I'd like to add that it was very hot when we went there. So prepare yourself accordingly as there is the climb too. Lastly, it's very nice to sit around the statue grounds and soak in the view. You could pack something to eat and do that here. #100waysoftravel #statueofliberty #USA #liberte

Our family visit to the Statue of Liberty in New York Harbor was a stirring experience filled with patriotism and wonder. As we approached by ferry, the children gazed in awe at Lady Liberty's majestic figure standing tall against the backdrop of the city skyline. Stepping onto Liberty Island, we felt a sense of history and significance wash over us as we learned about the statue's symbolism of freedom and democracy. Climbing to the pedestal, we admired panoramic views of the harbor, imagining the millions of immigrants who arrived in America seeking a better life. It was a moment of reflection and appreciation for the values that unite us as a family and as a nation.
Our next dream destination to travel with family is the breathtaking city of Reykjavik, Iceland. We envision exploring otherworldly landscapes, from cascading waterfalls to bubbling hot springs and rugged lava fields. Embarking on glacier hikes and whale watching excursions, we'll marvel at Iceland's natural wonders and unique wildlife. From sampling traditional Icelandic cuisine to chasing the Northern Lights dancing across the night sky, Reykjavik promises a journey of discovery and adventure for our family to cherish for years to come.

Address: New York, NY 10004, United States
We are here at the Statue of Liberty and got a chance to board the helicopter tour. It is best to view this New York City famous statue from far and we also can find many replicas around the world. We arrive at Battery Park and take the cruise around the statue, taking the 360s views and then climb the stiras to the crown. The stairs is narrow and winding and can get claustrophobic too so try to drink plenty of water and breathe normally. It is a must to get up close with Statue of Liberty in NYC. Bring some energy bar with you to keep your energy level.
