Jeonju Hanok Village Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Jun)
Best time to visit Jeonju Hanok Village
#localescapes
It's Jeonju Hanok Village.
It's a pity that it's becoming a village of shops that look like hanok, rather than the unique beauty of the quiet hanok.
But I think it's a good place to visit for those who like clean retro sensibilities. I think foreigners look good in hanbok, too.The statue of Jesus, the Pietà replica, that greeted us with open arms in the electric cathedral was also wonderful.
Jeonju ❤️ healing place
Jeonju has a special place in my heart. People lives in a slower pace here compare to Seoul and I just love the hanok village. Did a hanok stay here and absolutely love it. The Hanok Village is a must visit! It is wayyyy better than those in Seoul to be honest. My highlight of the trip would be Chokso Cafe in Omokdae. The cafe is under the real hanok. The hanok was built more than 100 years ago. And the owner renovated it a bit and turned it into a “zen” beautiful cafe. #jeonju #solotrip #Visitkorea #hanokvillage

There is a place called Seohak-dong Art Village near Jeonju Hanok Village :)
As a Jeonju native, I didn't know such a place existed!
There are many trendy places around here, but I visited a brunch restaurant called Gufop 🍴
The weather was nice, the atmosphere was great, the company was wonderful, and the food was delicious,
It was such a happy day!

Jeonju Hanok Village - South Korea
Jeonju Hanok Village is a historical place located south of Seoul. Here you can find traditional Korean houses that are dated back as far as the Joseon Dynasty. The houses are now used as shops, restaurants and museums to showcase the many traditions of South Korea, such as rice wine making. It is about 2.5 hours journey by train from Seoul. Some of the popular attractions in Jeonju is to stay in one of the Hanok houses. Note also that Jeonju is where the famous Bibimbap originated, so make sure to try!

Naejangsan National Park Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Jun)
Beautiful Autumn View Of Naejangsan Park
#fallingseason
This is a temple of Naejangsan Mountain, so there was a Buddhist culture, and there were programs like this In particular, many people prayed at Daeungjeon Hall, and on the other hand, they wrote the title of prayer on the roof tiles There's a college entrance exam coming up, and my understanding goes down. Oh, it's already that way. In fact, I looked around Baekyangsa Temple's walking path because the main purpose was autumn leaves rather than temples or Buddhist culture Not only the autumn leaves, but it was also a beautiful place in any season. It wasn't the peak yet, but the autumn leaves that I showed off as I did it first and the trees that are not colored yet and shy made me not regret my trip here enough.
Beautiful Autumn View Naejangsan Park
#fallingseason
I went to Baekyangsa Temple in Naejangsan Mountain because they said the baby foliage was pretty The baby foliage that I've only heard about was really cute Small autumn leaves about the size of a finger were gathered, giving off the charm of red autumn leaves. Many small stones were piled up at the entrance of Baekyangsa Temple in Naejangsan National Park When I came here, the desperation of many people passed through my head I think we're living in a wish I think that because we have a wish and a wish, our lives will continue and a moment of maturity will be created like that autumn leaves.

I thought about when to go after seeing the map's prediction that the peak autumn leaves in Naejangsan Mountain will be around 26-29 at the end of October, but I thought the weekend would be complicated, so I went to work. On October 27th But it wasn't the peak of autumn leaves As you can see, only my clothes are burning 80% of the time is called the peak of autumn leaves, and it's hard to match this time Someone jokingly said that it would be December to see autumn leaves in the south from now on It says that the autumn leaves of Naejangsan Mountain are November 6th It's not too late for Naejangsan Mountain's autumn leaves You have a chance Please come back next week.

I went on a two-day trip to Naejangsan Mountain, a famous fall foliage spot in Jeolla-do, with my family. On the first day, I looked around the Jangseong Baekyangsa course with Naejangsan foliage, and on the second day, I saw the colorful foliage with the Jeongeup Naejangsa course. Today, I would like to introduce the first day course, Baekyangsa course. Naejangsan Mountain, Korea's No. 1 maple tree, is a mountain on the border of Jeongeup-si and Sunchang-gun, Jeollabuk-do, and is one of the five famous mountains in Honam and one of the eight scenic views of Korea, and has been widely known as a maple spot for more than 500 years.

Hunan's first city is actually in Gwangju, South Korea
When traveling to South Korea, in addition to the most famous Seoul, Busan, and Jeju Island, Gwangju is also a good destination.
This place was once the capital of the Later Baekje, retaining a large amount of traditional culture and architecture, and is also the venue for one of the three major film festivals in South Korea, the Gwangju Film Festival.
🚄You can take the high-speed rail from cities like Seoul to Gwangju
🚌Or you can take a bus, the fare is more cost-effective
The main attractions in Gwangju are Hanok Village and a few nearby relics, which can be visited in half a day.
Many buildings are based on Chinese architecture and incorporate Korean elements, which are very interesting and beautiful, suitable for taking pictures and checking in.
Use kakaomap to search for the following attractions, the names of each attraction are as follows:
1⃣️Omokdae: p2 is on a small hillside, there is a small pavilion, the scenery is very good, you can overlook the entire Hanok Village
2⃣️Confucian school, village school: p3 This is Gwangju Township School, the architecture is very regular, the scale of the building is large, and it is also the location of many Korean movies
3⃣️Gyeonggijeon Shrine: p4 You need to buy a ticket to enter here, it is in Hanok Village, many people wear Hanbok here to check in and take pictures, it is also worth a look
4⃣️Jeondong Catholic Cathedral: p5 A Catholic church combining Chinese and Western styles, it may not be open for Mass on weekends, pay attention to the time
5⃣️Pungnammun Gate: This is where the cover's "Hunan's first city" is located. It's quite interesting to see this name here
🍜I ate the famous Gwangju bibimbap p7, which is the same as the former Korean president, but to be honest, Korean food is not very tasty, so I won't make too many recommendations.
Here is photos of my birthday dinner together with my girlfriend.
I will post my birthday cake afterwards so stay tuned.
Hahah, if you really need some inspiration for your next bday you have to see that!

Daedun Mountain Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Jun)
The beauty of Daedunsan covers by snow
I just spent the first day of the holiday. I think I have to go somewhere on the second day. Where should I go? I have a lot of places to go, but my husband doesn't walk on a rough mountain path. Then, shall we walk on the Odaesan Seonjae-gil or the Seonjaryeong Forest Road? If you are going there, you don't have to rush from dawn, so take your time to get up and pack your backpack. I left my house with the navigation on with Seonjaryeong as my destination. While searching for the weather forecast on the way, I changed my mind again and ran to Daedunsan Mountain. Expecting that it will snow there, I will be able to meet a wonderful scenery. Then, I got a call from Youngsueni unni. Come there because you are going to Taegisan Mountain. Ice and flowers bloomed there
In 2024, I wish to visit this beautiful place again.

Lovely Autumn escape from busy Seoul !!
A bit late to say to talk about autumn in spring , or another round is talking ahead what to do in your next South Korea autumn trip .
One of my bucket list done !! Hiking Daedunsan, at 878M . Actually Daedunsan isn’t the highest peak you will find in South Korea, but it’s rocky outcrops and famous cloud bridge and steep stairs will easily make it worth your while to travel and hike here.
But , if you don’t want to hike , there is cable car will be bring you to the base of cloud bridge and suspension stairs, but you still need to hike up some stairs though 🤭🤭!! Spend your day there with Mother Nature and appreciate yourself with beautiful 🍂 feel !!!
How to get there - I took bullet train from Seoul to Daejeon and take bus to so-beau bus terminal and took bus 34 to the rest area , and walk 2 km to the base of the parking lots( where by you can take cable car). But , you are staying in Seoul, you must be like me taking first train and first bus , I even still need to wait for first bus when I reach to So- Beau bus terminal . And you can spend almost half day and enjoy local food before you go back to Seoul in the evening. Such a worth day hiking ever. See you on the other side of the world .

Colours at Daedunsan
The hills are alive with the view of colours, with leaves that has changed for a hundred times. The colours of Mount Daedunsan is splendid when autumn arrives. Situated at the central location of Korea, the change is colours occurs earlier than other places due to the relatively cold climate.
The mountain has an elevation of 878m, but fret not as there are cable car available for non hikers. However, in order to enjoy a better view one is expected to hike a little longer to the peak in order to enjoy the foliage. There is a bridge in the middle of the mountain for visitors to capture beautiful foliage pictures as well.

The beauty of Daedunsan covers by Snow
Daedunsan Mountain, called the Salt River of Honam in Wanju-gun, Jeollabuk-do, is a mountain that combines rock formations and strange rocks such as Chilsungbong Peak, Janggunbong Peak, and Samsun Rock, which are 879.1m normal, and various mountain ranges, and it is said that the sunrise and sunset that you can see directly from Maedundae or Nakjodae are excellent. You can walk up Daedunsan Mountain from below, and the convenient way is to get to the top of Maedundae by cable car. In particular, the three-line stairs of Daedunsan Mountain, which came out in the SHINee key broadcast on "Sanda Alone," are known as SNS restaurants, with 127 stairs at a high angle of 36m long and 51 degrees.
In 2024, I wish to visit this beautiful place again.
