Hirukojima is said to be the place where Minamoto no Yoritomo was exiled after being defeated by Taira no Kiyomori in the Heiji Rebellion. I knew that in 2015, related spots around Japan were registered as World Heritage sites as part of the Meiji Industrial Revolution in Japan, but I didn't know that one of them was in Izu✨ So I went to the Nirayama Reverberatory Furnace right away! However, unfortunately the exterior wall was under repair😭 (I think it's finished now) Instead, I was given a clear file with a picture of the exterior. First, I learned about the Nirayama Reverberatory Furnace at the museum and saw the real thing. Although most of it was covered with sheets, the remains of the furnace, which are a highlight, were visible. I checked the weather carefully, but unfortunately I was wearing a hat when I saw Mt. Fuji... I could see Mt. Fuji from the sky bath at New Hakkeien! It's so moving when you can see something you couldn't see before! After that, I met capybaras and alpacas at Rakujuen in Mishima, and went on my favorite babbling walk... The plum garden in Atami was in full bloom and it was amazing! I'm sure it must be hard to maintain, but I'm grateful for the generosity of free admission💗
