Esfahan is a great place to visit for a free trip to Iran
Friends ask how is Iran? I thought for two seconds and replied 'urbanized'. Apart from the attractions, it could be any city in the country.
The locals I met were all very friendly, and the most I heard were 'Salam' and 'welcome to Esfahan', and of course, the word 'qin' that comes out when they see an Asian face.
The attractions in Esfahan are mainly around Imam Square. On a good weather day, the square's lawn is for children playing football and locals picnicking. To the south is the Imam Mosque, to the east is the Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque, to the west is the Ali Qapu Palace, to the north leads to the bazaar, the old square, and the Jameh Mosque, and to the northwest is the Chehel Sotoun Palace, all of which can be walked through.
The Si-o-se-pol Bridge and Khaju Bridge span the not-so-wide Zayandeh River. At night, it's lively with locals singing and dancing. Unfortunately, the riverbed was dry when I visited, so I couldn't capture the reflection of the bridge arches in the water.
The Vank Cathedral in the Armenian district is just a tourist spot, without faith and candles, and the Iranian flag stands outside the dome church. Foreigners pay an entrance fee of 2 million rials
Practical information,
🔹Esfahan's Kaveh Bus Terminal
🔸Azadegan Tea House is a very interesting restaurant with reasonable prices and an enthusiastic owner
🔸Shahrzad is an established restaurant with a nice environment, good trout, an additional 10% service charge, but still asks for a tip at checkout
🔸Mollabashi combines accommodation and dining, the courtyard is extremely beautiful, very photogenic, with a small exhibition hall, charges an entrance fee of 2 million rials at checkout, it's uncertain whether locals need to pay, and I'm puzzled by the practice of charging an entrance fee for those who have consumed (afternoon tea) in the shop, and there is no notice upon entry.
🔹Shopping recommendations around the square's bazaar and local designer shops

33Bridges in Isfahan is one of the most histrionic bridges in Iran and Asia. You can walk on it and enjoy the views and great weather?in the city or even walk around it and have some traditional sweets and drinks. There are photographers who take your picture and print it in color in less than an hour. The Allahverdi Khan Bridge, popularly known as Si-o-se-pol, is the largest of the eleven historical bridges on the Zayanderud, the largest river of the Iranian Plateau, in Isfahan, Iran. Thus bridge was made in the early 17th century to be used as both a bridge and a dam.
Address: Isfahan Province, Isfahan, Enghelab Sq Chahar Bagh e Abbasi Street.

The blue world under the mosque | Abbasi Great Mosque
The blue world under the mosque🔵
.
I still remember that when we arrived at the Abbasi Great Mosque to take the photo, it was still very early, probably shortly after sunrise, so that we could take photos without people. I often advise people to shoot at sunrise time to get crowd-free photos, and the sunrise's weaker and slanted light is better for taking photos. So I would say that being a photographer is a hard-working profession, because you often have to work at sunrise, and you have to process and post-produce pictures at night, so you can't fall asleep for a long time.

Imam Mosque, Isfahan.
Imam Mosque, also known as Shah Mosque, is located in Naqsh-e Jahan Square, Isfahan. The mosque is decorated with exquisite tiles both inside and out. The large dome on the south side of the mosque is 54 meters high, and its main parts are gilded or silver-plated, making it dazzling and radiant. If you stand on the echo stone directly opposite the dome and shout, the whole mosque can hear you. The mosque has a seminary, and the guide invited an imam to introduce the current situation of the seminary.

First Visit to Persia—The Imam Mosque
The deep autumn sunlight, like a touch of Midas,
Turns the once green poplars into a golden hue;
The most exquisite gold is embellished with delicate light blue,
As if the eyes were flowing,
Telling tales of light songs and graceful dances in the Persian royal palace...

Isfahan, half of the world
A line from the French poet Renier truly reflects the beauty of Isfahan.
This is a city built in the desert, but it is rich in vegetation and full of life.
Here are the deposits and gifts from history, allowing people to trace the footsteps of the ancient Persians and look back at the wonderful past.
Isfahan, a city you will fall in love with once you come.

2 | What is it like to stay in the Iranian State Guesthouse?
| What is it like to stay in the Iranian State Guesthouse? In the city center of Isfahan, Iran, there is a palace hotel built in 1723 with a history of over 400 years, named Abbasi hotel, also known as the State Guesthouse.
At the prominent position of the hotel garden entrance, there is a striking sign "welcome to the most beautiful hotel in the world".
🏨The hotel is full of antique relics, even a staircase, a corner, all retain the brilliant history of ancient Persia, witnessing the brilliant achievements of an ancient Persian civilization empire;
🌸The hotel's garden is my favorite place, full of atmosphere, even after 400 years, it is still a place for various parties and dinners, sitting in the garden at night, enjoying the breeze, listening to music, everything feels really great, I like it very much;
🥗The hotel's breakfast, not to mention the best one in Iran for more than ten days, can be said to be among the best in the luxury hotels I have stayed in abroad, the environment is full score💯, the tableware is exquisite, the variety is the most diverse, the breakfast here is suitable for sitting down and enjoying slowly, be sure to reserve enough time here, it is very worth it;
🎨There are many places to go shopping around the hotel, next to it is a pedestrian street, and a mosque, but my favorite place is the miniature painting (miniature painting, a traditional craft of ancient Persia, is a kind of finely painted small painting, very demanding) across the street, we can say that we lingered in this shop, and gained a lot.
📍The location of the hotel is really good, it is very convenient to walk or drive to the main attractions (Thirteen-hole Bridge, Imam Square, Imam Mosque, Forty-column Palace, etc.).
🥹Because it is an antique hotel, it has not been renovated, the room is relatively old, after all, it has been some years, need to be mentally prepared, but we stayed for two nights, the second night has quickly adapted haha😆
Every time I return to the hotel, I am too tired to take many good photos, only took a quick photo in the garden in the early morning, a little regret!
Anyway, I left very good memories in Isfahan, it is a very comfortable and petty bourgeois city, also very suitable for citywalk, even if not staying here, having afternoon tea, eating dinner, or having a drink at night, it is very worth it!

Iran's oldest mosque: Jameh Mosque
🇮🇷Iran Yazd: Jameh Mosque✔️
🕌Listed as a World Cultural Heritage for 12 years - four religious buildings from different eras, you can see the evolution of Islamic religious buildings over 800 years... It is the oldest mosque preserved in Iran and the prototype of mosque design in the entire Central Asia region.
In Iran, the ceilings of mosques, the mosaics on the walls, the structure of the pillars and domes, and the hollowed-out skylights... Everywhere reveals the understanding and reconstruction of geometric figures in Islamic architectural art. Do you also like to look at mosques like me?
⚠️It opens at 9 o'clock in the morning, catching the first wave in, no tourists, that time is super suitable for taking pictures~

Iran Trip
On April 29, 2023 at 17:30 Iran time, the team arrived at the third largest city in Iran, Isfahan. The first attraction was the Armenian Vank Cathedral, which is the most exquisite church in Isfahan. It is very interesting from the outside, as a Christian church has an Islamic-style dome, which is the best example of the coexistence and prosperity of the two religious cultures of the Safavid dynasty. The interior of the church is also very beautiful, with various Jesus statues, Virgin Mary statues, and apostolic church Christian-themed story paintings all around, shining with gold and jade.

Thirty-Three Arches Bridge, viewing the old city of Isfahan.
The Thirty-Three-Arch Bridge in Isfahan, Iran is one of the 11 bridges in Isfahan, Iran. It has a total length of 298 meters, a double-layer structure, and a total of 33 arches. The Thirty-Three-Arch Bridge has a history of more than 500 years. History. The bridge is designed as a double-layer structure with a total of 33 holes, which is one of the famous representatives of Safavid bridge design.
Thirty-three arches connect the upper and lower Chahar Bagh streets, and the arch bridge also acts as a dam to hold back the river. The river bed will dry up during the dry season. Whenever the lights are on at night in the bridge holes on the first floor, there are always people playing local folk music here, adding a little artistic flavor to the ordinary life of Iranians. There are pedestrian walkways on the second floor, where people come and go, full of life.
When the evening comes, the sky still has a hint of dark blue, and the warm yellow light shines on the layers of bridge holes. This is the best time to take pictures. Wearing simple dark colors or local Muslim robes, leaning against the Islamic-style bridge hole, listening to traditional Iranian songs, while enjoying the charming night of Isfahan, the picture is inadvertently frozen here. There are three best locations for the camera. One is on the bridge. In addition to normal shooting, you can put the camera on the ground and set the timer to shoot after ten seconds.

Shah Mosque, the Blue Mosque of Iran 🕌
The mosque was built in blue because the color that was popular during the dynasty when it was built was blue 🕌
A building with a blue color that changes beautifully depending on the light and time
