Berlioz was an unlucky composer! His music was not popular in his home country during his lifetime, and his concerts were not popular. He lived in poverty all his life, and only made a living by writing some small things, and he died at the age of 66.
The former residence of Isère is actually the home of Berlioz's parents. He lived here until he was 18. His father was a doctor, and his life must not be too tight! The house is beautifully decorated and has a strong life atmosphere, which is fascinating! The museum is not convenient for transportation and can only be driven by car. The tickets are free.
