The place is still in its infancy of development but I could see that the place is already very popular and always catered to a lot of visitors, mostly college students. On weekends, it is packed with families and groups of people of different ages. I’m absolutely not a morning person but this kind of beautiful scenery makes me want to jump off my bed and go outside to appreciate the beauty of Mother Nature. The falls are definitely a must see for anyone going to Iligan. Of course it pales in comparison to Maria Cristina Falls but it has its own charm being secluded from everyone. I do hope however that the stairs going down be improved further (the non-Iligan side) to prevent any injuries and improve the overall experience. Paseo de Santiago at ILIGAN CITY

We had our Bukidnon scheduled travel but we decided to have a quick detour at Iligan City.We visited the famous Paseo de Santiago .It is a local park near the seaside . There were many variety of food stalls ,shops and etc. The locals said ,it is best to wait for the sunset view .But unfortunately , we were not able to do so since we have to travel back to Cagayan de Oro City.The place is great for family and friends hang out.The atmosphere and the cool breeze is amazing .It has spacious parking area .And the famous ILIGAN CITY signage is huge. #travel #sidetrip
