Paseo De santiago
Paseo de Santiago is a privately owned property located at Barangay Santiago, Iligan City. It opened its door several months ago but has already attracted tourists of Mindanaoans alike.
The place is still in its infancy of development but I could see that the place is already very popular and always catered to a lot of visitors, mostly college students. On weekends, it is packed with families and groups of people of different ages.
Just like the HOLLYWOOD sign in Los Angeles, it's getting quite popular for tourists to take pictures of the ILIGAN CITY sign in Paseo de Santiago.

#holidayvacation Maria Cristina Falls is the second-highest waterfall in the Philippines, as is found in the suburbs of Iligan City on Mindanao Island. It’s the star landmark of the host city, which is part of the reason why it’s known as ‘the City of Majestic Waterfalls’. There are over 20 waterfalls in the area, but the Maria Cristina Falls is the grandest.

#holidayvacation Philippines is reputable for its pristine beaches, there’s nothing like discovering its best-kept secrets and unspoiled beauty. Tinago Falls is one of the many hidden natural treasures that the county has. Tucked within a ravine in Iligan City in Lanao del Norte, this majestic waterfall is the main tourist attraction of the province and also serves as a water source for residents near the area. Its name Tinago Falls in Filipino means “hidden” that perfectly fits its location that one can only reach by descending some 500 steps. The 240 feet high waterfalls will evoke oohs and aahs and so much awe from anyone who will visit it for the first time. It is surrounded by colossal rock structures dotted by thick masses of trees and natural foliage. Despite this towering scene, what lies at the bottom of the falls leaves visitors in even greater astonishment. #merryxmas

#holidayvacation 5 am be like in Iligan City. I’m absolutely not a morning person but this kind of beautiful scenery makes me want to jump off my bed and go outside to appreciate the beauty of Mother Nature. Luckily I just did today so I got to witness this. The feeling of being connected to the nature is really beyond anything, it’s wonderful to just wake up to this and stare in the sky doing some reflections and being grateful for everything good that happens despite what we all currently facing now. #merryxmas

The falls are definitely a must see for anyone going to Iligan. Of course it pales in comparison to Maria Cristina Falls but it has its own charm being secluded from everyone.
I do hope however that the stairs going down be improved further (the non-Iligan side) to prevent any injuries and improve the overall experience. It would be very nice too if the changing rooms / CR be fixed.

Run wild and free like a waterfall!
Maria Cristina Falls is known as one of the Majestic Waterfalls in Iligan city because of the presence of more than 20 waterfalls. It is sometimes called the "twin falls" as the flow is separated by a rock at the brink of the waterfall. It is located 9.3 kilometers away southwest of the city proper at the boundaries of Barangays Maria Cristina, Ditucalan, and Buru-un. Known for its natural grandeur, the 320 - feet (98 meters) high waterfall is also the primary source of electric power for the city's industries.

The Famous Maria Cristina Falls🇵🇭
#timetotravel
The Maria Cristina Falls is also called as the "Queen of Philippine Waterfalls". It is a breathtaking waterfalls with a height of 320 feet which ranks 8th as one of the tallest/highest waterfalls in the Philippines. An interesting legend surrounds this twin waterfall when twin sisters were bathing in Agus River, Maria got swept by the current and Cristina tried to save her. Unfortunatel due to the strength of the current both of them drowned and thus people call the waterfall now as Maria Cristina Falls. An interesting fact: 70% of Mindanao's energy is from this falls. Amazing right? Entrance Ticket: 35 (double check they might have changed it now)
Address: Misamis Oriental - Maria Cristina Boundary Rd, Iligan City.
