Paseo de Santiago is a privately owned property located at Barangay Santiago, Iligan City. It opened its door several months ago but has already attracted tourists of Mindanaoans alike. The place is still in its infancy of development but I could see that the place is already very popular and always catered to a lot of visitors, mostly college students. I’m absolutely not a morning person but this kind of beautiful scenery makes me want to jump off my bed and go outside to appreciate the beauty of Mother Nature. The falls are definitely a must see for anyone going to Iligan. Of course it pales in comparison to Maria Cristina Falls but it has its own charm being secluded from everyone. I do hope however that the stairs going down be improved further (the non-Iligan side) to prevent any injuries and improve the overall experience.
