[Argentina] Iguazu Falls: The strongest of the world's three great waterfalls!
Iguazu Falls, a World Heritage Site and one of the three largest waterfalls in the world
Iguazu Falls straddles the border between Argentina and Brazil, and this is the biggest attraction on the Argentine side, the Devil's Throat
This was my second visit to Iguazu Falls in my life,
I went there more than 15 years ago, and I think that at that time the promenade was more aggressive (right above the Devil's Throat),
but it seems that every time someone is swept away or falls,
it seems that it has been relocated further back, probably for safety reasons
However,
The water volume and power are still overwhelming,
I have conquered the three largest waterfalls in the world (Victoria Falls, Niagara Falls), but personally I think Iguazu is the most powerful and impressive
In addition, a rainbow appeared just before noon, so I was able to enjoy the view I wanted to see!
By the way, there are a lot of wild badgers in Iguazu, and if you get close to them, they will bite you and you will see blood, so there is a warning sign saying "Never touch them!" along with a picture of a vivid injury.

This is called 'Devil's Throat' (Garganta del Diablo in Spanish or Garganta do Diabo in Portuguese), which is the best highlight and super dynamic, tremendous, overwhelming water volume of Iguazu Falls in Argentina side, with 80–90 m (260–300 ft) wide and 70–80 m (230–260 ft) deep.
Actually I've been here since more than 15 years. At that time there used to be the more aggressive boardwalk, like close to the Devil's Throat. However it is safer than used to be because the accidental fall happened and the boadwalks destroyed many times by flood. Anyway the powerful and impressive view is not change and I was Lucky that I saw double rainbows in the falls.

• Public transportation: You can take bus No. 120 from the city. The fare is R$5 and runs every 20-30 minutes. You can pay with cash or card, and the bus terminal is at the entrance to the Bird Park and Iguazu Falls, which is very convenient. Note: The border on the map is not the entrance, the bus terminal is the entrance to the waterfall!
• Uber: If you want a more convenient way, you can take an Uber to the bird park, which costs about R$40. In the morning, you can visit the bird park before heading to the waterfall.
🎫 Iguazu ticket information
• Ticket price: R$ 100
• Ticket purchase method: There are staff at the entrance of the waterfall to guide you to purchase tickets from the self-service ticket vending machine. The ticket price includes the shuttle bus fee in the park, which is very convenient.
• Waterfall experience: If you want to participate in the waterfall experience, you can buy it at the ticket office at the second stop for 355 reais. Just arrive before 4pm to buy your tickets and attend.

• Locker: It’s a good idea to keep a set of dry clothes in your locker when you’re going waterfall-bathing. Locker rentals are 10 reais, and changing into dry clothes after the waterfall will make you feel more comfortable, especially when the weather is colder.

The Iguazu Falls on the Argentine side is also a famous attraction, but if you want to go there from the Brazilian side, you need an Argentine visa. Including customs clearance time, it is recommended to reserve at least one day to visit the Argentinian side. If you have a visa, it is highly recommended to see both waterfalls. A 10-minutes helicopter 🚁 ride was the ultimate experience and it was worth any single cent 😚

The falls are absolutely amazing!The views from the Brazilian side are spectacular and the roar is almost deafening.
The national park is also very well organized and maintained. You can buy tickets online for visiting and the instructions at the visitor center are clear and easy to follow. On the Brazilian side they also have Uber which makes it so much easier to go to and from attractions / hotels / airport especially if you do not speak Portuguese as this way you can just type in the address and you know you get in the right place and how much you owe. It’s excellent, though we had also a very good experience with taxis, since we had to use a taxi to cross to the Argentinian side as they do not have Uber.
Just fly with anything other than Latam to get there, since they are terrible. But even the bad airline experience cannot detract from this wonderful trip. Would highly recommend visiting the Iguazu Falls - and would strongly encourage everyone to visit both sides. The border crossing is very easy and the custom officials extremely helpful, quick and efficient and welcoming on both sides. Crossing to Argentina took maybe 20 min and back to Brazil about the same.

Even though it's the same waterfall on the Argentine🇦🇷 side and the Brazilian side, the scenery is different, so you can stay there for hours. It was also great to be able to take a picture of a rainbow🌈 in a circle.
If you take a boat on the Argentine side, you'll be plunged into the waterfall, so it's very impressive. However, you'll get soaked from head to toe.
It's hot, so it dries quickly, but it's a good idea to bring a change of clothes.
The walking course is also quite long on the Argentine side, but if you just want to try something, the Brazilian side is shorter and will save you time.
You can also eat while watching the waterfall.

Iguazu Falls, Argentine side
Check in at the world's widest waterfall, the Iguazu Falls on the Argentine side! Unfortunately, the Devil's Throat has been cut off and it's not open yet.. It's like following Wong Kar-wai to Argentina
In the morning, go to the bus terminal and take a bus to the falls, 7000P/person/round trip, about 40 minutes (towards the airport). Since I bought tickets online before for 20000p/person, there's no need to queue. It's just Labor Day, so there are slightly more people. The staff generally speak English (both at the station and the scenic area). There's a luggage storage place nearby, didn't ask the price.
After entering, just follow the main road. You can choose to wait for the little train (registration required, free, wait for your name to be called) or take the green trail on the right side of the station, about 655m, to the real entrance of the trail. There are two paths, upper and lower. We went to the lower one first, saw the full view of the waterfall and a rainbow, very beautiful. Saw a few boats rushing into the waterfall, took a round trip, about 90 minutes, walking, stopping, and taking pictures (as estimated by the road signs). Met a group of Malaysians while resting. Then went to the upper, the scenery was not as good as the lower, no rainbow, just saw the source of the waterfall.
Both paths are circular. On the way out, saw crocodiles and monkeys. After leaving the scenic area, took a bus back to the city from the right side of the scenic area entrance.

Changing the perspective, I realized that the overall appearance of the waterfall is like this, it is a grand view formed by a crack in the vast river. Taking a small boat to rush the waterfall is also a different experience, you can try it if you are interested. There are many little monkeys🐒 in the park hotel. If you don't close the doors and windows, they will sneak into the room to steal food. The hotel says that if it happens, the hotel guests have to pay for the little 🐒~
