Best sunset in my hometown 🌇🌅

#bestsunset #100waysoftravel #uluyam #selangor This is my lovely hometown here in Ulu Yam Lama, it is about 1 hour drive journey from KL to here. Not to mention the sunset is so nice that can compete with anywhere in KL or other states. The sky slowly turns from blue to purple, and a couple minutes later then whole sky become orangey. Would strongly recommend to come here as there are many good things here such as food and even cafe!

World of Phalaenopsis in countryside 🌹💐🌸

#grouptravel Located in the outskirt of Kuala Lumpur with approximately 50 km away (1 hour driving), World of Phalaenopsis is a famous tourist spot in Ulu Yam as one of the largest orchid farm in Malaysia and there are a lot of varieties for sell at a reasonable price!! Admission is FREE of charge even you do not purchase anything and you can take a lottt of instagrammable pictures !!! There is also an in-house cafe here with picturesque waterlily pond view that offering a open and nature garden vibe to you. Under the hot sun, you may get a seat inside the cafe after buying the orchid and order some cold coffees! The price is not cheap but giving this spacious and chilling environment, it is still within an acceptable range. Just an alert here, if you are having ailurophobia, it might not be a good place for you as they are soooooo many cats with kittens walking around 🐱🐱🐱 Rating: 🌟🌟🌟🌟

Can take the water from Coway dispenser at the cafe. * Be prepared to take a cold shower 🚿 🥶. 📌 Outdoor swimming pool, field for activities, spacious cafe, barbecue pit, parking near chalet, prayer mat, Ikea rack, handwash and bodywash provided. Rating - 4.7/5⭐. This chalet located next to the river so we just go for a swim whenever we like. The swimming pool water is very cold and freezing as the water source is direct from the river. 🥶 Food & Restaurants - Cafe available but need to order in advance or you can order outside food. Highlights - Barbecue activity and bonfire 🔥 at night.

HEAVEN FOR ORCHID LOVERS ✨🌈

Orchids here are beautiful, advise to travel here by a small car as the entrance to the place is quite narrow. There are plenty of parking spaces, some are even shaded. The best part is that the entrance fee is free and there are wide variaties of colours from pink, yellow, white to name a few. There is also a cafe there were they serve coffee, tea, waffels, even local kuihs and curry puffs! There is also a pond beside the cafe where you get to enjoy the view while sipping on your coffee, there is also ducks and fishes in the pond. We ended up buying a few orchids back along with their fertiliser. They can also help decorate/ design your orchid pot for a small fee which we did not take because we prefer to do it ourself. #fallingforfall #tripblazers

Beautiful Orchid Farm

#createwithtrip Phalaenopsis or as we normally call it orchard is one of the most beautiful flower existed. In fact though intense cultivation and experiment, there are thousands of varieties of Orchids. Orchards are most commonly found in south east Asia countries such as Malaysia, Thai, Philippines. Introducing World of Philaenopsis, where you can visit and enjoy the beauty of orchard and have a relax day out with your family or friends. It is located in 2 locations. Gotong Jaya Farm and Ulu Yam Farm. Both Farms are easily accessible from Either Bath Cave route and near Batang Kali shop lots. We visited the place last weekend on our way to Genting highland. Spent a few hours in this wonderful place, bought some beautiful orchard and have a lunch at their cafe. It was a beautiful place to visit for those who love plants and orchard. Do check it out.

Orchids lovers should go here. Orchids were breathtakingly beautiful. You can find many of different type of orchids here and price really reasonable and cheap. Located in the small Selangor rural village of Ulu Yam, approximately an hour away from KL city. The World of Phalaenopsis brings you to a simple home of a variety of orchids, ducks, chickens where you can enjoy their open concept cafe. The atmosphere is very relaxing and joyful. Location: Hulu Yam Lama Highlights: Hidden gem in organic farm, has homestay too Ambience: Surrounded by greeneries and nature Rating: 4.5/5 Notes: Only serve coffees, cakes and pastries ( without main course ) There is a hidden cafe in an organic farm located in Hulu Yam Lama, Taman Desa Patin. Here you can not just only enjoy fabulous cakes and coffee (pork free) , you can also purchase fresh organic vegetables in the farm. Hulu yam is about 1 hour drive from the city Kuala Lumpur. Great weekend getaway with friends and family. There are plenty more of place to visit like orchid farm ( World of Phalaenopsis) and many great restaurants selling delicious local food too! There is also a hotspring in 20 minutes drive and rivers to enjoy cooling water fun trip! GPO outlet is also 20 mins drive away from Hulu yam, a great place to stop by too if you are heading to genting highlands!

#malaysiatrip I was being told about this place for years and did not really plan about paying a visit here, although I always come to Ulu Yam every weekend 🌚 So finally made an ad-hoc decision to drop by and it was really beautiful! There were already many flowers at the entrance all the way in. They basically offer different decorated Phalaenopsis flower for different purposes. Not to mention, they also have cafe in about 50metres in, you will see a small lake full of Phalaenopsis, ducks and chicken running around, so much blending into nature! 😆
