Some trail/ area are rocky and steep. 🏃🏻Length; 8.4km, took me about 4 hours going up and down. Another 1 hour was staying on the summit enjoying the nature. 🌟There’s a playground, exercise corner and some resting points where bench are provided. There are small waterfall on top and we were able to dip ourselves in the water. It is a long hike, so bring snacks and enough water. Rubbish bin available in some resting point.

Can accommodate up to 6 people, maximum 8 people Three rooms and two bathrooms, with a kitchen and living room. All utensils are provided, just bring your own food and ingredients. BBQ facilities are available at night, with charcoal provided upon request. It's great for hanging out with friends and family on weekends. Very accommodating and the ambiance itself bought us to another feelings. Its wooden complexes buildings was really amazing. Traditional architecture is the highlights here. Terra pong which should be read as terapung in Malay language means floating. referring to the restaurant itself. built like a water chalet inside small pond and floating. Super spacious and clean Praying room available here. Menu was amazing with typical choices of Asia food especially East coast Malaysia and Thai elements.Can accommodate 1500 people one time and very spacious parking area. I personally love this restaurant as it is reasonable and with good food to enjoy. Besides, its a nice place for those who love the traditional architecture. Imagine this: Your living quarters is right by a river stream. The air is fresh and cool, and there are ponies (yes, ponies) and goats and chickens and geese around and near you. Just be mindful, these animals are overly friendly for better... or for worse 😂 There are some mosquitoes but not too many. After splish-splashing in the river, it's time for your BBQ dinner. Ready the pit and BBQ your heart out. When it's time to sleep, it's cosy and nice, you'll feel right at home 😴 Just be mindful of flying and crawling insects. Is it worth the price? Basically you just have to bring your own food. It is dog friendly however the rule is that you have to leash your pet dogs which is reasonable. We purchased the premium package and we think it’s decent enough. A very peaceful and quiet site. Spent our night chatting with friends. It was a night well spent away from the hustle and bustle of the city! Recommended.

Enjoy the green shower - Sg Congkok

Instead of boring weekend mall shopping, we decided to do something else - enjoy the green shower at sg congkak. Sg Congkak located at hulu langat, about an hour drive from KL city. You can either park your car outside of the recreation park or drive in your car for RM15. For each adult, it cost RM3. Toilet is available just few steps away from entrance. The recreation park is clean with proper maintenance. We didn’t really prepared for picnic as it’s a last minute decision. And we will drop by again soon with proper planning. Old Hydro Plant in Selangor

Located at Ulu Pangsun, at the foothills of Gunung Nuang, the mini hydro plant is the second oldest in the peninsula and the oldest in Selangor until it ceased operations in 2001. Ulu Langat mini hydroelectric plant is believed to have come about in the early 1920s when the tin mines sprouted up in Kuala Lumpur. According to early records, the beginnings of the Ulu Langat plant could be traced back to Cornishman George Simms, a prospector who ran the Sungei Besi Mines Ltd. Simms was said to have scoured the hills of Ulu Langat on horseback to look for streams to power a hydroelectric station after hearing about the successes of other mines using hydroelectric power. After overcoming strict government regulations, the Sungai Besi Mines was granted a 42-year licence to operate the power plant, with the condition that the government had the first option to purchase the excess electricity. Upon the plant’s completion, electricity was supplied through 29km of transmission lines running through the jungles. In 1933, the government bought over the plant for 200,000 pounds (RM1.1 million). When the Japanese Army invaded Malaya in 1941, all power stations were ordered to be destroyed under the retreating British Army’s “scorched earth” policy. The Ulu Langat stations were also incapacitated during the war, only to be rehabilitated when the British returned. #hydro #Malaysia #heritage

Veg Fish Farm Thai Restaurant is located at Jalan Hulu Langat. It is very unique that the restaurant is in a hilly area with fish ponds and river. The restaurant has its own farm, breeding fishes and prawns, and chicken too. Some of their dishes like coconut drinks are served using the boat. Their Thai food is authentic and tasty. Fish and seafood is freshly served. We order the White Tomyam Seafood, Belacan Paku, Pineapple Fried Rice, and also Thai Style ''Bo-Lan'' Fried Tilapia Fish. All of the foods are delicious.
