Benxi Huanren Wunü Mountain Scenic Area

1. Buy tickets at the West Gate Mountain Gate Visitor Center, after buying the tickets, go directly through a museum and take the sightseeing bus. The bus ride takes 10 minutes and covers 8 kilometers. (So you must buy the bus ticket).
2. After getting off the bus, you can start climbing the mountain. From here, there are two paths for climbing: 999 steps and Shibapan. The 999 steps are too tiring to climb, so I tried Shibapan and found that these two paths actually overlap. Shibapan has more steps and is more strenuous, so I gritted my teeth and took the steps. I also suggest that everyone should not try Shibapan, as it really doesn't save any effort!
3. When there are about 100 more steps left, you can choose again. Continue climbing up to reach the 999 steps. On the right, there is another path called Yifuguan, which is a ladder set between two huge rocks, only one person can pass through it, and climbing from here is more thrilling.
4. After climbing the steps, you will reach Nantianmen, where the road splits into two. The left leads to Duxiufeng, and straight ahead is Dianjiangtai. First, go left to Duxiufeng. Picture 2 is on the way to Duxiufeng, and Picture 3 is Duxiufeng. After viewing, return to Nantianmen and go to the other side.
5. Follow the signs to Dianjiangtai, passing three ancient building sites, which are part of the royal city, where some artifacts were unearthed. This section still has many stairs, and climbing these stairs is exhausting 😂. Picture 5 is the view from Dianjiangtai.
6. After viewing Dianjiangtai, it's the way down the mountain. Follow the path passing Guanyunting to Yixiantian. This section is steeper, straight up and down, so be careful. (Picture 8 is Yixiantian). Then pass a section of the ancient city wall (Picture 9), and you can find the bus to go down the mountain.

The entire trip takes about 4 hours, with many steps. After climbing, your legs may tremble a bit, but it is still worth it, the scenery is really beautiful.

Driving from Shenyang to Huanren Tiger Valley Gorge
Take a cruise through the waterway, then you can reach the mountain entrance of the scenic area, which is the Tiger Valley Gorge of Huanren!
Direct navigation from Shenyang to Huanren Tiger Valley Gorge🐅, it takes over three hours on the Shenyang-Jilin Expressway, and the scenic area is not far from the expressway exit.
Tickets🎫🉑 can be purchased online for 135 yuan, but you need to buy two hours in advance, tickets on-site are 150 yuan, all inclusive. (Includes admission, boat ticket, Good Fortune Glass Suspension Bridge, Rainbow Glass Plank Road, Step Cloud Glass Viewing Platform, Yong'an Glass Suspension Bridge)
First, go to Huilong Lake Pier to take a boat, the staff told us that there is a boat about every half hour, I have posted the time from Lanmen Pier to Ruyi Pier, and the last trip back to Huilong Lake Pier is around five o'clock.
The whole journey of Tiger Valley Gorge is stone steps, during the mountain climbing🀄, you can encounter two glass suspension bridges, one glass viewing platform, and one 1⃣️ glass plank road. For those who are faint-hearted, it is recommended to take the stone steps next to you to go up the mountain, which also leads to the next scenic spot.
The glass slide down the mountain in the scenic area was closed in July 2021, the reason is not well understood.

Summary❤️: Because it's not a holiday, there are very few cars🚗 on the expressway, sometimes only our car.

The restrooms🚻 are also super clean and sanitary.
There are many trees🌳 in the scenic area (even🈶 a maple tree🍁 secretly turned red at the tip), because there are many and dense trees🌳, it is not hot at all when climbing, and the view from each viewing platform is different. It also rained today, and the air after the rain is even fresher, breathing is thorough!
In the evening, we stayed in a caravan town not too far from the Tiger Valley Gorge scenic area.

A nanny-level guide to Man Valley vacation town in Benxi, Northeast China
You can start from Shenyang, take the expressway at Shenyang East Toll Station, go through Shen-Ji Expressway and Fu-Tong Expressway, surrounded by green mountains and grasslands with unique scenery. Just 3 minutes off the toll station, you'll arrive at Huanren Man Valley vacation town. Check-in at the town center, where shuttle buses are available. We stayed in a treehouse on the mountain, and by calling the front desk, shuttle buses were readily available. The staff were super friendly and the environment is amazing!
The European style of the town is super dreamy, with green grass, blue sky, and rolling green hills. There are churches, castles, and even a swimming pool. When tired, you can enjoy the hot springs!
Lights on at 7:30 pm, there's a bonfire and fireworks, making it a romantic and comfortable exclusive area.
It's cooler on the mountain at night, so bring a jacket and long pants!
Town restaurant:
Breakfast is from 7 to 9 am, buffet style.
For lunch and dinner, you can choose iron pot stew, camping BBQ, with local Northeastern dishes like pig slaughter dish, sauerkraut blood sausage, which are Northeastern specialties. The flavors are strong and portions are generous! There's also peach crispy meat and lotus leaf beef with potato slices that taste great!
It's recommended to dine outdoors, enjoying Northeastern cuisine amidst European scenery, which is both beautiful and fitting.
The restaurant is open until nine at night, and there's a supermarket nearby where you can buy water and snacks!

Attention, this is my dream house. We came specifically for the treehouse, which comes in various types: for two, three, or four to six people, all villa-style with a welcome fruit plate including persimmons, grapes, and cherries, etc.
The first floor has a hot spring, and the front desk will inform you of the water filling times, complete with rest chairs and a swing
The second floor is the guest room, clean and cozy, with mosquito repellent provided. It's close to Maple Valley and Tiger Valley Gorge, just a few minutes' drive away.
You can also head to Kuandian, not far from Liaoning's 'Baizhangji' Qingshangou. You can choose to visit together!

The scenery of Wunu Mountain is beautiful, with the Feilai Peak standing alone on the mountain, and the One Line Sky is a deep and distant chasm, a marvel of nature. The deepest part of One Line Sky is 31 meters, and the narrowest part is 0.65 meters. Standing in it and looking up, you only see a line of blue sky.
The mountain city has steep cliffs on the east, west, and north sides, and a steep slope on the south side, making the terrain easy to defend but hard to attack. Inside the city, 3 large building ruins, city walls, sentry posts, barracks, and water storage pools have been discovered.

Wunu Mountain stands on the right bank of the Hun River north of the county town, 8 kilometers from the county town. It is surrounded by cliffs, shaped like a rectangle, with the main peak at an altitude of 804 meters, 1500 meters long from north to south, and 300 meters wide from east to west, with walls over 200 meters high.
