Summer bank Holiday in Herne Bay 🔆
#summerbankholiday
Spending the Summer Bank Holiday in Herne Bay, Kent, was the perfect seaside getaway! 🌊 This charming coastal town has everything you need for a relaxing break. The best part? It's all free! No entrance fees, just good old-fashioned beach fun. I spent most of my time walking along the pebble beach and enjoying the fresh sea air. The colorful beach huts lined up along the promenade added a splash of charm, and the view of the iconic Herne Bay Pier was just stunning. 🎡
The pier itself was buzzing with life – there were funfair rides, little shops selling souvenirs, and plenty of food stalls offering delicious fish and chips. 🐟🍟 I couldn't resist trying some freshly made doughnuts! A short walk away, the Memorial Park offered a quiet space to relax, with beautiful flower beds and lots of shade. 🌸 For those who love history, the town has the interesting Seaside Museum, which gives a glimpse into the local heritage and only costs a few pounds to enter.
Just a short drive away is Whitstable, known for its oysters and charming old streets, which is perfect for a day trip. 🚗 Herne Bay’s blend of traditional seaside fun, friendly locals, and lovely views made this bank holiday weekend truly memorable. #trip #HerneBay #SeasideFun #KentCoast #BankHolidayVibes #BeachHuts
