2025 Hereford Travel Guide: Must-see attractions, popular food, hotels, transportation routes (updated in January)

Hay Bluff is one of my favourite viewpoints in the Brecon Beacons. The hike up is quite challenging. I would say a moderate level hike. If you love the great outdoors and being surrounded by unspoiled nature then you can do no better than the Brecon beacons. Beautiful Abbey just outside Hereford UK. Friendly monks, amazing grounds & a great chapel.

You HAVE to visit this beautiful city. Such history. Such culture. So much to explore. Travelled up by train stopping off at Birmingham but many other routes to get there from London. Personally loved the cathedral and the river. Was really lucky with the weather. Some lovely shops as well, lots of chain but also lots of independents. Make sure you check the city out and travel out of the centre to see the incredible countryside too!
