I went to Taiwan once before for a free trip and it was really delicious for 8 days! Very fun! Very nice to shoot! From Taipei to Tainan, from movies, songs, TV series to every destination, perhaps, free travel in Taiwan is just around the corner~ We know Kenting Hengchun Town through the movie "Cape No. 7". It tells the story of Ajia, the lead singer of a young band who returned home from Taipei frustratedly. Under the arrangement of his stepfather, he became a postman in the town and later met a has-been model from Japan. The story of how Tomoko met The last stop of our one-day trip around Kenting was to Hengchun Town, which is located in the southernmost part of Pingtung County, Taiwan Province. It is the southern gateway of Taiwan Island and the most famous scenic spot in Taiwan. Due to the warm climate, phalaenopsis orchids were common here in the past. The ancient name of Hengchun, "Langqiao", is the transliteration of "orchid" in the Paiwan language. This quiet town looked particularly deserted in the drizzling weather. Ajia's home was originally an ordinary house, but after the movie hit, the house also became a star. Many tourists come here to take pictures. You can buy some "Cape No. 7" souvenirs on the first floor, and go up to the second floor to take pictures. However, the owner was not open for business on the day we went, so we only took some simple photos outside. It seems to be run as a B&B now, and it has exactly the same atmosphere as in the movie!

Today, I went to Hengchun Town to stroll around and see the sights, and by the way, I visited this Bobo Kitchen that we had already booked in advance. You need to book two weeks ahead, and they don't accept walk-ins, so it's quite famous online. The layout inside is very quaint, with a very retro vibe. There's a bakery on the ground floor, and the main dining area is upstairs. First, when you enter, the front desk will give you a menu. You order your food in advance, and then when there's a seat available upstairs, they'll call you to sit and directly serve the food and drinks you ordered. I must say, the taste is really good. Everything is delicious, each dish is tasty, and the prices are not expensive. The only thing is that the bread in the appetizer is a bit hard, which you can skip if it's too tough for you. Their pasta, pizza, and Italian risotto are all delicious, not too salty, and the drinks are quite nice as well. The cake is a mille-feuille, and you can add rum to pair with it. The portion of pasta is generally for one to two people, so if you go with more people, you'll need to order more dishes. We were five people and roughly ordered these dishes to eat, each one was very tasty, with flavors scoring a full 10 points. You can save room to try other delicacies in Hengchun Town. In the end, including drinks and service charge, the total was NT$2200, which is quite a bargain, equivalent to about HK$100. It's worth recommending to everyone to go.

The Hengchun Peninsula (恆春半島) experienced a spike in tourists following the release of Cape No. 7 in 2008, which holds the record as the highest-grossing Taiwanese film. Tho it’s a house mainly for photo taking (also the house for movie characters), you can buy postcards and send it directly here. I want to travel to Hong Kong to visit the movie set for classic HK films!

#familytrips Travelling to Kenting this June with family, we started the trip by having the dinner at the Kitchen Swell that located near to the Kenting main street. As a famous restaurant aged 80 years old + , do remember to make a reservation in advanced through the link given in their facebook to ensure you can get a table upon your arrival. Hengchun Ancient Town, the southern part of the country, Cape No. 7! Speaking of Hengchun Ancient Town in Taiwan, its history is very long. The ancient city wall and several city gates can still be seen. The ancient city is very small and can be walked by foot. Due to the mild climate and the four seasons like spring, this new city is named after "Hengchun". The remaining four gates and some city walls in the southeast and northwest are the only remaining ancient cities in Taiwan. The majestic north gate is made of red brick, and there is a battlement above the gate. After the wind and rain, the red bricks on the west gate have no bright colors, and the mottled walls are full of traces of the years. The ancient town is not big, and you can almost see the wall. All the streets are neatly paved with floor tiles, clean and tidy. Of course, such an ancient city wall can't be compared with the majesty of many city walls in the mainland.

Hengchun Ancient City is in the southern part of Taiwan, the northern part of Kenting, the only remaining ancient town in Taiwan. But everyone knows that it is still because of the movie "Cape No.7", and the home of Ajia in the movie is here! It is now a souvenir selling point. You can visit and buy handwritten messages on the first floor, you can also write postcards, and you need to pay for tickets on the second floor. Now you still have the same scene as the movie. The outer wall has written Cape No. 7. If you want to punch in, you may have to queue up for a while. When you arrive in the ancient town, you must go eat onion ice cream and mung bean garlic, both of which are snacks here. Its really interesting to listen to the boss and everyones introduction of onion ice cream.
