#summerbreak This particular trip to Sydney was a special one as it was around the Chinese New Year period and hence a visit to Sydney Chinatown is more unique with all the Chinese New Year lighting. Chinatown Sydney is located near Central station.Over here you can find lots of fantastic Asian restaurants and shops. I will recommend visiting the Friday night markets to sample some tasty food and pick up some bargains. Been to all states of Australia and I reckon Sydney Chinatown is the best of all so make sure to visit it while in Sydney.

Powerhouse Museum located at 500 Harris St, Ultimo NSW 2007, Australia Children love this museum!!! and it's FREE!!! This is quite an old museum and when we were there, there was still some section is under renovation. There's futuristic displays and exhibitions too! from steam locomotives, musical instruments (the classical pianos are an open eye!), even displaying clothing design for the future, as well as ancient potteries, and MANY and i mean MANY MANY more! #CelebrateWithTrip

Cleaning supplies are quite complete, however there is no toothbrush or toothpaste provided🧴 ▪️ The location of the hotel is really good, firstly near Chinatown is very lively, secondly want to eat Hong Kong style tea house / dessert shop are, there are other different restaurants nearby, want to drink tea can still 🥰 ▪️ Every day there will be a cleaning staff knocking on the door and asking if we need to clean. We have thought that it's actually a good thing, but we're not used to it😆 Needs improvement ❎: ▫️ We called down for the first time to ask for slippers, but waited 45 minutes and it didn’t arrive. So I called again and asked again, the staff said it was gone, the staff said they would give us priority the next day When we called down again the next day, they would be sent to us, but in the end they didn't arrive. There is a kitchen, laundry room, which has a washing machine and dryer🧺 ▪️The kitchen is open, with electronic stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, the hotel must include cutlery, kitchen utensils, dishwashing supplies, etc., everything is included🍴 ▪️ There is also a small mini bar with a kettle and coffee machine. The hotel also includes tea bags of coffee and 6 milks ▪️ Next to the kitchen is a three-person dining table, which is quite large and can put a lot of things on it. 海底捞(Hai Di Lao) Darling Street, Sydney. It’s a rather small 海底捞 in comparison to the others across the globe but man is it great! I really enjoyed the self mix and match of the sauces and the amount of meats/vegetables we were able to choose. Also great to have hotpot while also enjoying a performance! (You might have to get lucky as they don’t do it every time and only for a certain time period). But service and food was amazing and there was a lot of freebies and stuff you could do while waiting (it’s quite busy), make sure to have a booking or else you’ll have to wait around 35-50mins.

We stayed at Meriton Suites Campbell Street in Sydney, located at 6 Campbell Street, about 400 meters from Museum Station, just a few minutes' walk away. Nearby attractions include St. Peter Julian's Church, Chinatown Library, and The Happy Coach Sydney, which are all super convenient. The location is excellent, and it doesn't take long to walk to Sydney's main attractions, making it very convenient to get around. The hotel has a modern and minimalist decor style, especially the lobby, with lighting and decorations that are particularly textured. The facilities are super complete, with an indoor pool, spa, and 24-hour front desk service. When we checked in, the front desk lady was very enthusiastic and introduced us to a lot of information about the surrounding area. The room was spacious and bright, and we stayed in a deluxe studio suite equipped with a kitchen, electric kettle, ironing facilities, and a safe, just like home! There is also 24-hour hot water, and the toiletries are Kevin Murphy, which is a plus✨! The room has almost everything, including a washing machine and dryer, which is especially convenient for long stays or families with children. The bed is also super comfortable, and you really don't want to get up! We could also enjoy music and food, and the room's soundproofing was excellent, making it feel particularly quiet. The kitchen is fully equipped, even with salt and pepper, so cooking a steak is easy. Highly recommend the nearby restaurants😋! For example, Tetsuya's Restaurant's recommended dish "Onion Salmon" is really delicious. Aria Restaurant's raw Mooloolaba scallops are also very good. If you're a vegetarian, Lentil As Anything (Newtown) is also a good choice. No matter what you eat, you won't have to worry! Although this stay was great, the hotel still has some minor flaws. For example, the floor in the pool area is a bit slippery, and the parking lot is not in the hotel, so you need to walk a short distance. This little garden located at Sydney’s Darling Harbour which is just walking distance from CBD. This garden was build in 1988 to record the sister city relationship between Sydney and Guangzhou. Design of this garden reflect the balance of yinyang and five elements (metal, wood, water, fire, earth) in Chinese culture. This garden open daily from 10am - 5pm and last admission is 4:45pm. The restaurant is located just a few minutes walk from Central Station, and the interior is nice and airy. It wasn't too crowded even before lunchtime, and the food was served quickly. This time I had the passille, which was delicious.
