The Flinders Ranges. What a fun time I spent there! Mountain biking, four-wheel driving and camping in this very remote area of South Australia is out of this world. Six hours driving from Adelaide, the Flinders Ranges are the largest mountain range in South Australia. To me, it was one of the most deserted and isolated experiences I ever had. I could feel how very tiny I was in such a vast landscape. The never-ending red ground, the infinite amount of rocks, the clear stars in the sky, oh my.. what a way to connect with mother nature. It is not an easy journey and if you are not an experienced four-wheel driver or mountain biker I wouldn't suggest driving up here, but if you are, or if you are looking for a crazy adventure, this is another fun place to visit in Australia!
