I moved to Harlow a couple of years ago after the painful and harrowing experience of high rents and crazy high ass costs of living. Harlow is one of the few post war new towns built around London to ease the population congestion in London. Except for few new builds here and there, it feels Harlow froze in time. The town centre shows lots of promise but it feels as if no one puts any efforts. The high end stores are leaving Harlow citing poor sales. Harlow will be 75 years old soon. Speaking to few people who are as old as Harlow tell share some of their fond memories from the 80s and 90s. Harlow was a promising city once upon a time with a great future owing to its proximity to London: It’s become a retirement home for the citizens of London. Let’s hope for a #Harlow Miracle.

This view is in Harlow. Harlow is a small city and close to the underground station in epping and it has an Overground station. It is also close to London. Harlow is very quiet and has many beautiful fields. #celebratewithtrip #mytripvlog #wintergetaway

The Cotswolds are located on the west side of London, not far from the city by car. The roads are good and easy to drive. Each town is not far from each other. Another reason to drive is that the views on both sides of the road are very beautiful. If you want to park and not break the traffic rules or cause trouble for others, you can stop and take pictures as you please. We went in July, which was summer. The days are longer than the nights. The sun rises at 4-5 am and sets at 3-4 pm. That means we will have more time to travel than during winter. The weather in England is really unpredictable. It's like a person who has her period 365 days a year. But I was lucky that when I went, it was okay. But when it's hot, it's incredibly hot. Hot enough to kill cows and buffaloes. Hot enough to burn and burn. #TravelEurope
