2024 Harbourside Travel Guide: Must-see attractions, popular food, hotels, transportation routes (updated in November)
An evening in Bristol
Bristol is one of England’s most vibrant cities but is often overlooked by visitors when coming to the country.
The city has a fantastic maritime history which can easily be viewed by walking around its harbour area which has been completely redeveloped from its industrial past into a vibrant spot filled with markets, restaurants and bars. The perfect spot to spend a mild summers evening taking in the views. #bristol #harbour #voyagevibes
Most Vibrant Harbour
During a weekend stay in Bristol. I discovered the harbourside of Bristol. It quickly became one of my favourite areas to hang out. The area is very lively and colorful. It is filled with markets, bars, restaurants and ferry boats that offer tours. When the weather allows there's a lot of water sports like windsurfing, paddle and rowing can be seen happening.
What I also love about the harbour side is it's location and proximity to many things. The city centre or the millenium square is not too far from here. And so you've easy access to the fairground there, we the curious musuem, planetarium, the bristol aquarium, m shed and the list goes on.
Twice I also ate around the millenium square, good dining options around there. Besides exploring the food scene and many activities around the bristol harbour. I also recommend getting a boat tour. It is one of the best ways of seeing the harbourside. This one is highly recommended!
