Most people probably get there by car or bus, but I walked from the airport in the morning, climbed Higashiyama (Miharayama), saw Oike and Koike ponds, then looked around Karataki waterfall, and then walked all the way back to the city to arrive there. I went to Hachijojima, a remote island off Tokyo! The spring quality is sodium chloride strong salt hot spring♨️A spectacular open-air bath where you can bathe while watching the waterfall☺️You can enter for free😳It is mixed gender and swimsuits are mandatory👙 ┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈ 𖤣𖥧𖥣𖡡𖥧𖤣 ┈┈⚠️Important points⚠️︎︎︎︎︎︎☑︎The use of soap and shampoo is prohibited🈲︎︎︎︎︎︎☑︎Swimsuits are mandatory! ︎︎︎︎︎︎︎☑︎The changing room next to the hot spring is shared by men and women. It is well-cleaned and clean, but it is outdoors, so if you are concerned, we recommend using the changing room in the public toilet across the road! (This seems to be separate for men and women!) ┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈ 𖤣𖥧𖥣𖡡𖥧𖤣 ┈┈Comments💬It was a spectacular hot spring where you could look down on the waterfall at the eye clinic♨️When I visited, there were no other customers for a while, so I was able to relax in the bath as if it was all to myself💓When it's busy, it can be difficult to use the changing rooms, so I recommend considering using the changing rooms in public toilets!
