TIMANG BEACH : YOGYAKARTA

There are no beautiful beaches in Gunung Kidul. However, only Timang Beach has a Gondola. Timang Beach is located in Purwodadi Village, Tepus District, Gunung Kidul, Central Java. This beach is located in the west of Nglambor Beach, Jogan Beach, and Siung Beach or in the east parallel to Seruni Beach, Pok Tunggal Beach, Ngetun Beach. The distance from Wonosari City to Timang Beach is approximately 35 km. Timang Beach has a characteristic that is not much different from other Gunung Kidul Beaches. With views of white sand and many pandanus plants, this beach gives an interesting impression. In addition, you can also find a variety of marine life. The special feature that distinguishes this beach from other beaches is the existence of a coral island located 200 meters to the west, known as Watu Panjang or Batu Panjang or Pulau Timang. The access offered for visitors who want to go to Timang Island is by riding the Timang Beach Gondola, a traditional style cable car. This cable car is not as modern as the cable cars in the Capital City, because it is made with very simple materials, namely wood and rope as a connector. RADIKA PARADISE : YOGYAKARTA

In the middle of the meeting line of deciduous teak trees typical of the peak of the dry season, a building complex stands. Without neighbors, the building is located at one point of the Java Southern Cross Road that crosses Gunungkidul, Yogyakarta. It was 12 noon, the sun was stinging directly overhead. Radika Paradise, this is the place where we rested while visiting Gunungkidul some time ago. This resort is relatively new, because it only opened in mid-June. Some building construction materials are still visible in some corners. Located on the top of Tenggole Hill, Indrayanti Beach area, this stage concept resort offers two different views. At the front, as long as the eye can see you will be treated to the green teak hills typical of the Regency in the southern part of Yogyakarta. While on the back side, Watu Lawang Beach, which will spoil the eyes with the blue expanse of the Indian Ocean decorated with several large corals that are always pounded by big waves. Surrounded by teak forests and only about 200 meters from the beach, the natural and beautiful atmosphere was the first thing we felt when we were at this almost 1 hectare resort. When night falls, the waves of the southern sea can be heard clearly. The sounds of nature are relaxing music for everyone, especially for those who are used to dealing with the noise and the hustle and bustle of city life. This resort with a unique building model has 13 cottages and 8 villas, some of which are still under construction. Most of the building wall designs use glass.
