kelpies - Falkirk
My partner and I gift each other with a week away for birthdays , the week is always in and around the UK and includes a full schedule of interesting day trips and activities. This particular trip to Scotland included a stop off in Falkirk to visit the Kelpies designed by artist Andy Scott. The sheer size of the sculptures is breathtaking, we booked on the tour of the sculptures where they take you inside the sculpture and provide information on the history and the build. The tour was quite cheap at around 7.50 each and lasted around 30-45 mins, well worth it ! The site also had a few little eateries dotted around and ample parking ( quite busy ) well worth a stop if innthe area !
