How to get there
Muramatsu Park is easily accessible by public transport and car.
By train: Take the Joetsu Shinkansen to Niigata Station, then transfer to a local train on the Shinetsu Line to Gosen Station. From there, a bus will take you to the Muramatsu Park Front stop in 30 minutes.
By car: Drive 25 minutes from Yasuda Interchange on Banetsu Highway or 50 minutes from Tsubame-Sanjo Interchange on Hokuriku Highway.
The pink and white world
In spring, thousands of flowering trees color the park in all shades of pink.
In the evening, the backlight turns on. Pink-lilac iridescence gives the flowers an incredible charm.
During the hanami season, game pavilions and food stalls are set up along the paths of the park, where you can buy takoyaki, fried soba noodles, chocolate-covered bananas and much more. At this time, the park becomes very busy.
Big and small
Admiring sakura in Muramatsu is a holiday not only for adults. The park has a large well-equipped playground and plenty of space for family picnics under the trees.
