One of the must-visit places in Vladivostok, the Eternal Flame!
The Eternal Flame is a memorial space installed all over Russia,
to honor the Russian soldiers and nameless victims who died in World War II.

Must-see Vladivostok spot? The legendary Tokarevsky Lighthouse! 🚨
Built in 1910, it first lit up in 1913.
✅ Originally ran on kerosene, later switched to electricity. And get this – until 1959, they used to ring a BELL in the fog! (That bell now chills in the Pacific Fleet Museum).
Imagine navigating by sound in thick fog? 😮 Wild!
It stands on a tiny man-made island (like 25m across) at the end of an 800m rocky spit – the "Tokarevskaya Koshka" (Cat Spit).
This spit often gets submerged (you can see it in pics 👀) and blocks the path.
But just as often, you can totally walk all the way to the lighthouse without getting your feet wet! 😎
So, why "Cat"? I know two theories:
1️⃣ The spit's pretty small, so folks lovingly called it "koska" (little spit), which sounds like "koshka" (cat).
2️⃣ It kinda curves like a cat's tail, hence the name. 🐈
Fun fact: The lighthouse actually has TWO official names!
🟡 Tokarevsky Lighthouse & Spit: Named after hydrographer Mikhail Tokarevsky. The kicker? Dude never even visited Vladivostok! 😅 He was buddies with explorer Vasily Babkin, who mapped the cape and named it after Tokarevsky.
🟡 Egersheld Lighthouse: Named after explorer Gustav Egersheld, who studied Peter the Great Bay (where the lighthouse is) AND actually kicked off its construction. 👏
The views from the spit? INSANE! 🤯 The Russky Bridge, Elena Island, endless sea, ships in the bay... total eye candy! 🌊🌉
🧷 Visiting? FREE! Parking? Also FREE, but tiny.
🔖 Hop on buses 59, 60, 62, 63, 81... then walk about 2.2 km. 👣
Oh, and a quick pronunciation tip: It's Tokarévsky! Stress that "E". 😉

Lighthouse Rush
The best part about Vladivostok that many attractions are offered for free. The natural landscape provides breathtaking moments and leaves you in awe. Highly recommend visiting this Russian City Gem. Whether you have been here before or not, the city has much to offer. The only downside for us was commuting due to that same landscape. But we enjoyed every bit of it. Hope to come back here again #vladivostok #lighthouseviews

Tobizina (Russky Island, Vladivostok) – morning silence and wild landscapes.
This is a place where Vladivostok is left somewhere far behind, and in front of you are only rocks, endless water and the cries of seagulls.
Why is it worth coming here at dawn?
✔ – in the morning there are no tourists, no noise of engines (only the rustle of waves and wind in the grass).
✔ A trail without crowds – you have time to complete the route before the first groups arrive.
What awaits you:
- Wild bays with clear water
- Kekur rocks – pointed stones sticking out of the water like dragon teeth.
Important to know:
⚠ No amenities – no cafes, toilets or benches (take water and a snack).
⚠ Shoes are a must! – sneakers with hard soles (the rocks are slippery).
⚠ Take your trash with you – unfortunately, not everyone cleans up after themselves, but be above it.
The best way to start the day in Vladivostok is to meet the sunrise at Cape Tobizina. No people, no fuss, just you and the ocean. 🌅#vladivostok #nature #naturelover

Three men ended up sleeping at Incheon Airport and took an early morning flight
to Vladivostok
Compared to our country, it's like Sokcho, a port city
What was fun was that wherever we went, Koreans went to the same places
The best memory was that Dokdo shrimp and king crab were cheap
and vodka was the cheapest at the duty-free shop.

Incredible Vladivostok. A city you must visit!
I had a short but exciting trip to Vladivostok and visited some of the main tourist attractions over the course of three days.
Day 1: I started my journey with a visit to the Vladivostok State University of Transport and Communications. The architecture of the building was quite impressive, and I enjoyed learning about the university's role in the city's development. After that, I walked along the waterfront and took in the stunning views of the sea and the city skyline.
Day 2: The next day, I explored the history of Vladivostok at the History Museum of the Far East. The exhibits were very interesting and informative, and I learned a lot about the region's past. Then, I visited the Naval Cathedral of St. Vladimir, which is a beautiful and impressive religious building.
Day 3: On the last day, I went to Russky Island. The cable car ride was an adventure in itself, and the views from the top were breathtaking. I also enjoyed walking around the island and seeing the modern infrastructure.
Additional Experiences:
* Viewpoints: I visited several viewpoints around the city, including one offering a stunning panoramic view of the Golden Bridge and other iconic bridges of Vladivostok.
* Evening Walks: I took a leisurely walk along the evening streets of Vladivostok, admiring the city lights. I also strolled along the picturesque Tsesarevich Embankment and the local "Arbat," which is a charming street with plenty of shops and cafes.
* Cape Tobyzina: I explored Cape Tobyzina on Russky Island, where I could walk along the cliffs and enjoy breathtaking views of the local nature.
* Glass Beach: I visited Glass Beach, where the water has polished broken glass into a unique, shimmering surface.
* Local Restaurants: I indulged in the local seafood cuisine at two exceptional restaurants, Millionka and Rakushka, which offered unforgettable dining experiences.I had a short but exciting trip to Vladivostok and visited some of the main tourist attractions over the course of three days.

Vladivostok Free & Easy Travel Guide
🚌Transportation:
We entered via the Mishan Port. After arriving in Mishan, we took an international bus to Kamen (about 2.5h), then hired a private car to Vladivostok (about 3h).
1⃣️Mishan—Kamen: International buses run Monday to Saturday (💰180)
Departure at 8:30 AM/11:30 AM
2⃣️Mishan—Ussuriysk: International buses run every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (💰220)
Departure at 8:30 AM/9:30 AM
1. After arriving in Kamen, private car drivers are usually waiting. We were a group of 5 and paid 💰240 per person to Vladivostok. The ride took 3 hours—quite a long journey 😭.
2. Since Ussuriysk is closer to Vladivostok, if there’s a bus to Ussuriysk, take it directly. From Ussuriysk, use Yandex Go to hail a taxi to your hotel—it’s not too expensive.
⛵️Attractions:
1⃣️Victory Square—See the Orthodox Church and feed the pigeons 🐦 (p2.3)
2⃣️Tokarev Lighthouse—Filming location for *SoulMate*, the "end of the world" (p4)
3⃣️Golden Horn Bay Bridge—A stunning cross-sea bridge (p1.5)
4⃣️Glass Beach—Collect glass pebbles on the shore
5⃣️Tobizina Cape—Breathtaking at sunset, but requires a 2-hour hike (p6.7)
6⃣️Pacific Fleet Seaside—See naval ships (p8)
All these spots are worth visiting! Two full days are enough to explore them all. Tobizina Cape is far from the city but incredibly beautiful~
🍔Food Recommendations:
1. More Seafood/Zuma—King crab 🦀
2. Supra—Authentic Georgian cuisine with great vibes (p9.10.11)
3. Vspishka—Dessert shop 🍩
4. Tokyo More—Delicious and affordable Japanese food (p12.13)
5. Moonshine—A fantastic cocktail bar 🍹 (p14)
Highly recommend Supra for its authentic Georgian dishes—around 💰60 per person, tasty and budget-friendly. (Note: The server may ask for a tip when paying, but you can decline. I didn’t give one.)

A beach full of small pyramids
Vyatlina Cape is one of our favorite spring places in Vladivostok (although actually it is located not in Vladivostok Knut in Rysskiy island, 1 hour drive from Vladivostok).
There you can find a beach full of pyramids made from stones and it became so popular that many people come there just to add one more pyramid. So if you want to try doing the same or just want to see so many small stone pyramids along the beach here is the address 👇🏻

Primorsky State Art Gallery
The gallery staff are true professionals. They are always ready to help, tell you something interesting and make your visit as comfortable as possible. There are wonderful souvenirs as a keepsake. I recommend visiting the gallery with a guide. Believe me, this is a completely different level of perception of art! You will learn a lot of interesting things and maybe even want to know about it. So, if you want to spend time usefully and get a boost of inspiration, be sure to visit here.

A unique beach with glass instead of sand.
The Glass Bay near Vladivostok is a landmark known and popular not only among residents of Primorsky Krai or even Russia. For example, foreign tourists like to take glass with them, in general, the place has become world famous. Glass Bay also has another unique feature: only here can you see how pebbles from broken bottles and snow with ice simultaneously sparkle in the sun. According to scientists' forecasts, without constant renewal of "glass pebbles" the beach may disappear within a generation: have time to visit!

Very easy hiking route on Russky island
An easy and picturesque hiking route on Russky island. You need to drive to the Vyatlina cape viewpoint, park the car there and start your hiking way down to the sea. The good thing about autumn hiking is nice weather but not applicable for swimming which makes the sea side area empty, with no people so you can enjoy your time almost alone. Once you went down to the sea, move further to the right side until you reach a beautiful stone coming out from the sea.

Vladivostok🇷🇺Watch the sunset at "Sports Bay" in May
A trip for two girls to Vladivostok.
On our last night, we went out to Sports Bay
and watched the sunset 🌉
We had a 5-day period where the weather was not so good, but
the night view here was very beautiful, with the lights of the seaside street continuing all the way to the horizon.
The fountain was also lit up,
and it was a sight that was different from the daytime.
It was still cold,
but summer came quickly in June,
and it seems that the area is bustling with locals who come to tan and swim in the sea.
Next time, I'd like to come back in a different season ☺️

Panoramic Views of Vladivostok’s Cityscape 🌁
#cityscape
Nagornyy Park in Vladivostok offers some of the most stunning panoramic views of the cityscape. Located on a hill, the park overlooks Golden Horn Bay, the bustling port, and the surrounding bridges, making it a popular spot for both locals and tourists. It's a peaceful retreat from the city's hustle, with walking paths, benches, and scenic viewpoints.
Visitors can enjoy breathtaking views of Vladivostok’s skyline, including the Russky Bridge and Zolotoy Bridge, both iconic landmarks. The park is particularly beautiful at sunset, where the city lights begin to glow against the backdrop of the bay.

My first cross-border trip, Vladivostok, Russia, the first stop is the Vladivostok Lighthouse
🎉This year, my friends and I are going abroad for the first time in our lives! The excitement in my heart is hard to express in words.
Our adventure started from the Hunchun Port in China and set off on a fantastic journey to Vladivostok, Russia.
🚌In the morning, we arrived at Hunchun Port early, ready to take a bus to Vladivostok.
During the six-hour drive, we chatted enthusiastically and looked forward to the upcoming exotic scenery. The scenery along the way was also quietly changing, gradually transforming from the familiar Chinese style to the mysterious Russian scenery.
🕰️When the bus finally stopped at the station in Vladivostok, we became even more excited. At the first stop, we came to Vladivostok’s iconic building - the Vladivostok Lighthouse.
This lighthouse stands quietly on the seashore, guarding the tranquility of this sea area. We stood under the lighthouse, feeling the sea breeze on our faces, looking out to the sea in the distance, and it seemed as if we could hear the sound of waves hitting the rocks.
📸Under the lighthouse, we took as many photos as we could to record this unforgettable moment. Everyone's face was filled with excitement and curiosity, as if they had forgotten the fatigue of the journey.
🌅In the evening, we strolled along the beach and enjoyed the sea view under the sunset. The golden sunlight shines on the sea, making the waves sparkle and beautify the scenery. At this moment, we felt the magic and beauty of nature, as well as the warmth and tolerance of a foreign country.
🎈This cross-border trip has brought us many wonderful memories and experiences. We look forward to exploring more mysterious places and experiencing more exotic cultures in the upcoming journey!

Europe in 2 hours? Vladivostok Eagle's Nest 🇷🇺

I'd like to introduce the Eagle Observatory Funicular that I visited during my overseas trip to Vladivostok, Russia❤️
🦅Eagle Observatory
✔️Location: Pushkinskaya Ulitsa, 29, Vladivostok, Primorsky Krai, Russia 690091
✔ Business hours 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM
🏷️Eagle Observatory Reservation
Eagle Observatory is an open space, so no separate reservation was required.
The funicular that goes up and down comes every 15-20 minutes, so I didn't make a separate reservation.
Since the sun sets quickly in Vladivostok, I left a little after 4 o'clock, but I was able to capture the feeling of the sunset gradually in the photos, so I recommend visiting on time. 🌅

🎡An amusement park with a colorful Ferris wheel that was so pretty🎡
Vladivostok is actually very small, so there aren't many places to see, and the weather changes frequently, so it's hard to go around, but luckily the weather was nice and I found a pretty amusement park, so I took a lot of pictures😁
I didn't ride the rides because I was scared of safety, but the kids had a great time👍🏼 The Ferris wheel wasn't made of one color, but was made of rainbow colors, so it was really pretty🎡
I went to the Vladivostok amusement park, which was perfect for taking pictures with colorful emotions💖
