If you take that elevator up, you can go straight to the Plateau Observatory. Jungfrau is just a white snow field, but the space is not as wide as you think. I waited for almost an hour to take a picture with the Swiss flag at the Plateau Observatory. I only wore a light padded jacket, but it was not as cold as I thought.
