Dunrobin Castle & Gardens 🏰
#timetotravel
My experience at Dunrobin Castle in the UK was nothing short of enchanting. Situated on the dramatic coastline of the Scottish Highlands near Golspie, this fairy-tale castle exudes elegance and history. As I wandered through its ornate rooms, each filled with intricate furnishings and priceless art, I felt like I had stepped into the pages of a historical novel. The beautifully landscaped gardens, inspired by the Palace of Versailles, added a touch of grandeur to the setting. The castle's location, perched atop a cliff overlooking the North Sea, provided breathtaking panoramic views that captured the essence of Scotland's rugged beauty. Witnessing the falconry displays in the castle's garden transported me back in time to a bygone era of noble pursuits. Dunrobin Castle was a true masterpiece that seamlessly blended history, architecture, and nature in one captivating destination.
Dunrobin castle is the largest house in the northern highland with 189 rooms. Since 1973 the house and ground has been open to the public, with a couple of rooms retained for the use of the Sutherland family. The entrance fee for the castle and castle royal garden is £13.50, but you can explore the outer area without a charge. You can take buses X99 or train to the castle with walks. Limited train arrival here, so recommend taking a bus with a 30 minute walk.
In my mind, Dunrobin Castle, the most beautiful castle in the Scottish Highlands, the most important thing is that no one is very small, and the photos are taken casually.

Dunronbin Castle is famous in the Scottish Highlands and is not famous in China. The origins of Dunrobin are in the Middle Ages, but most of the buildings and gardens are now added by Sir Charles Barry between 1835 and 1850. Although there are many extensions and alterations, some original buildings can be seen in the inner courtyard. The largest house in northern Scotland. After being used as a boarding school for seven years, it is now open to the public.
The castle's garden was built in the style of Versailles. It is the portrait of the childhood heir of the castle.
Ways to go: In addition to the tour of the Highlands tour, the most convenient is self-driving tour.
