Moszna Castle – A Fairytale Escape
#myhiddengems
Hidden away in the Opole region, Moszna Castle looks like something out of a Disney movie, with its mix of Gothic and Baroque architectural styles and 99 turrets. It’s surrounded by a beautiful park with over 300 species of trees, making it a perfect spot for leisurely walks. The interiors are just as impressive, featuring a chapel, library, and grand halls. Moszna Castle offers both guided tours and overnight stays, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the fairytale-like atmosphere. A must-visit for history lovers and romantics. #100WaysofTravel #FairytaleCastle #HistoricWonders
5 THINGS YOU MUST KNOW ABOUT POLAND 🇵🇱 😍
Are you looking for medieval towns, enchanted castles, beautiful nature and really yummy food? Poland offers all of this and in today‘s travel guide I will share some tips with you to make the most out of your trip!
🗺️ Places to visit / Things to do:
1.Krakow -the cutest city in Poland 😍
2.Lavender fields in Ostrow 💜 Yep, you can get a feeling of Provence in Poland 😁 There are actually many lavender farms all across the country! Make sure to come during summer so see them in full bloom.
3.Wroclaw - the second cutest city in Poland in my opinion 🤗
4.Zamek Moszna -The Disney Castle 🏰
5.Tatra Mountains -This photo was taken in the same national park but on the Slovakian side because Poland doesn’t allow dogs in their park 😭
6.Gdansk- the perfect place for vacation 🏖️
7.Zamek Plawniowitz -an unknown castle but I think it‘s so beautiful 🥹
8.Usedom 🌊
9.Palac Sulislaw -This is a hotel 🏨
10.Zamek Czocha -Another old castle 🏰 (There are so many in Poland)
Other places to see:
-Warsaw (the capital)
🚗 How to get around
Trains are great and connect all of the cities. We usually travelled around in our car to be able to visit the more unknown places as well (the castles for example) 🚗
⏰ Best time to visit
The cities can be visited all year round and even in winter it‘s fun because there are lots of christmas markets 😍 The places near the beach are obviously a better destination from spring to autumn.
🏨 Where to stay
Many castles are hotels so that would be a unique place to stay!
🐶 Is Poland dog friendly?
It depends. At some villages in the country side people still put their dogs into cages to protect the house (and barely let them out), the Tatra national park doesn’t allow dogs and for some restaurants dogs are a no go. I feel that this is slowly changing though. We visit Poland very frequently and during our last visit we even saw restaurants that offered dog menus 😍
We hope this guide was helpful and makes it easier for you to plan your trip! Is Poland on your bucket list? 😍
