Autumn in Glasgow 🗺️
#fallcolors
Autumn in Glasgow is absolutely magical! The city’s parks come alive with vibrant colors, especially in Kelvingrove Park and the Botanic Gardens, where the leaves turn brilliant shades of red, orange, and gold. I spent hours just wandering through the tree-lined paths. The best part? It’s completely free to enjoy these outdoor spaces. The crisp autumn air made exploring even more refreshing, with nearby attractions like the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, where entry is also free!
The weather was cool but not too chilly, making it perfect for cozying up in one of Glasgow’s many cafés. I particularly loved grabbing a hot chocolate at Café Gandolfi before heading over to the West End for some local shopping and live music. The architecture in the city is stunning, and autumn really highlights its charm. 🍁🍂🌆

Weekend trip to Glasgow 🇬🇧
We always travel to UK from Dublin simply because of cheap flight ✈️🤣 This post is about our trip to Glasgow. Few places that I would recommend if you’re traveling to Glasgow.
We spent about £38 to buy our train ticket and it’s a open return ticket 🎫. We find it very worth as the price is for 4 pax and it’s very flexible 🙌
This first place to recommend is definitely Gallery of Modern Art!! All the art pieces were just stunning and amazed us! The Gallery was not too big, we spent about 2 hours there and we just love it 🥰
Gallery of Modern Art
📍111 Queen St, Royal Exchange Square, Glasgow G1 3AH, United Kingdom
The next spot will be University of Glasgow! The building was so so beautiful. We spent sometimes to walk around the university. Due to weekend, the university was very empty and we were able to get some pictures around. We met a student from the college and she was explaining the history of the university to us. 🥹🥰 She’s just so nice!
University of Glasgow
📍Glasgow G12 8QQ, United Kingdom
The last place that I recommend would be Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum. We did not made any reservation in advance. We just walk in and luckily we are able to enter the museum. Again, the art pieces were all very stunning! But if you’re in a group of more than 5, I would definitely recommend you to make a reservation. Please visit this place! It’s so beautiful 🤩
Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum
📍Argyle St, Glasgow G3 8AG, United Kingdom
Lastly, if you’re around gallery of modern art, do try out one of the restaurant nearby, sound bite bar and restaurant. The food that they served was really tasty! Check it out 🙌🙌

The Gallery of Modern Art is a gallery that displays contemporary arts in Scotland. It is one of the top tourist attractions in Scoland due to the statue right infront of it which always has a traffic orange cone on its head which signifies freedom of speech and the protector of the gallery. We managed to get in to this exhibition hall and saw Banksy's exhibition. It was so interesting. If you have time while being in Scotland, check it out and try to go and see an art exhibition if there are any when you are in the city. Enjoy!

Awesome Ride With Scotrail!🏴
#timetotravel
I've been to Scotland a few times already and I only managed to ride on it twice since my inlaws have cars for us to borrow. Scotrail is a must experience in Scotland when you are touring around and if you don't have a car. Such a lovely ride with Scottish highlands and lowlands stunning views. We hopped onto the train in Ayrshire and got off in Glasgow Central Station. I really enjoyed the ride and there weren't a lot of people as well. Enjoy your journey! #mytripvlog #tripblazers #train #uk #scotland

Oldest Building in Glasgow🏴
#timetotravel
Glagow Cathedral is one of the top attractions in Glasgow so fo course we had to sit it for ourselves. The details of the architecture of this cathedral is just incrdible. The glass painting and the splendid design of the ceiling. You can't help but just be in awe and stare at them. I love that they remained the cathedral as it is , it has that gothic vibe, very atmospheric and feels like you have entered an ancient cathedral. The Cathedral's last entry is at 4:30 so make sure be there before the said time. It has an underground chapel as well so explore that too. We didn't have enough time so we just quickly saw everything and left when they closed.
No tickets required.
Address: Castle Street. Enjoy your visit.

Where to Watch Shows in Glasgow🏴
#timetotravel
We didn't plan on attending one but we saw a few days before that there was a star wars orchestra concert at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The concert hall is big and spacious , nice lights and great sound system. It was just a great experience overall with very lovely staff inside. They always offer different shows here and it can be rented for events like graduation. If you are into concerts then just check their website about the timeslots of their shows. Have fun.

Tramway
Tramway is an art studio located at the south side of Glasgow. You can either take the train to Pollockshields East or take the bus there. I spent about one hour there. They will have different exhibitions approximately every month. I love the artwork there, it was absolutely beautiful 😍
There were also a hidden garden and a wee cafe. You can totally spend a whole day just chill out with your friends or family.
^___^
Glasgow Fort Shopping Centre
Glasgow Gort is a massive shopping centre in Glasgow east side. The shopping mall has lots of shops! You name it! I would recommend the Italian pizza restaurant and Mactassos, a Greek street food. The gyros are totally incredible and the price is reasonable. There’s also a cinema called Vue. The tickets are a lot cheaper compared to other cinemas in Glasgow city centre. It was a perfect place to spend a whole day there!
^___^
Queen’s Park
Queen’s Park is located at the south side of Glasgow. It is a very popular park in the neighbourhood. There are two pounds with lots of ducks there. It is a very nice place to chill, different from the vibe in city centre. It is quiet and you can climb up to the flagpole to see the panorama of Glasgow! I would love to go back again as it is a wonderful place to go picnicking!

Barras Market
Getting There - Glasgow Barras Market
Attractions - Barras Market
Food & Restaurants - Roam Coffee, Hong Kong food
The Barras Market is a place I usually go on Weekends. The lovely design of the market makes all things interesting. You can find some vintage and cool stuff in this market. There was a Hong Kong market just finished this weekend. It was absolutely mobbed and the food was sold out at 1pm. Hope they can bring it back again!

Glasgow city break
Getting There - Glasgow central, Giffnock
Attractions - Riverclyde
Food & Restaurants - Thomsons coffee, Kurdish street food, the hidden tea room
Recommend that you can stay 5 or more days in Glasgow. Not only for the decent food, but also enjoy the chill atmosphere. The hidden tea room has selections of teas, wee deserts, and the fabulous high tea (need to be booked before you go). The Kurdish food are famous at south side because most of the Kurdish population live there.

Largest Loch in Great Britain! 🇬🇧🏴
📍 Loch Lomond National Nature Reserve
I can now say that I have been to the largest lake in Great Britain BUT gutted that this isn't the place where the lochness monster" reside. 😂 Nevertheless, loch lomond is such a beautiful and peaceful place to chill. The loch is so calm and the the air is so fresh. There are so many activities for different types of visitors too like bird watching , hiking etc.
I know that whereever you go in Scotland, you're always surrounded with beautiful and natural scenery but going to this place is just a breath of fresh air! It is very picturesque so whereever you stand you'd always have a stunning backdrop.
A must visit destination when you come to Scotland🏴
You can easily spend one day or two if you really plan your trip well because just likr any other Natural Nature Resereve, this place is massive. There are cottages there so you wont go far from the loch. For us, we were only there for 3 hours so we only saw a little bit of the park.
Loch Lomond is entrance FREE and it is certainly worth exploring!
Getting there: We drove there but there are a few ways how to get to Loch Lomond.
1. From Glasgow take the train for about 50 minutes to Balloch
2. Or take a coach/bus from Glasgow going to Fort William/Skye. It has a stop at Balloch.
