#2月好去地方2025 A century-old Norwegian hotel established in 1981, HOTEL UNION Geiranger is located halfway up the mountain, close to the Geiranger Fjord, with beautiful scenery. There is a small waterfall in front of the hotel. Follow the trail down to the beach, and the view is amazing when you open the window! The old hotel is not only elegantly decorated, but also houses a beautiful antique car. The Fjord Room is 25 square meters in size. Although it is not a very large room, it has a beautiful view of the fjord outside the window and is quite comfortable to live in. The price for one night for two people including breakfast is NT$6,500. The buffet breakfast has a rich variety of dishes, especially the desserts, which are very delicious. I heard that the seafood buffet for dinner is even richer, with even crayfish, mussels, and crabs. The mountains and waters of Norway are magnificent, comparable to the fjords of New Zealand. Geiranger is a small tourist village in the Sunnmøre region of Møre-Lømsdal county in western Norway. It is located in the municipality of Stranda at the head of the Geirangerfjord. Geiranger has beautiful scenery and was once rated as the best tourist destination in Scandinavia by Lonely Planet magazine. Since 2005, the Geirangerfjord area has been listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The Seven Sisters Waterfall is located west of the Geirangerfjord, opposite another waterfall called "The Suitor". Geiranger Church is the main church for the village and surrounding area. As Norway's third-largest cruise port, Geiranger welcomes between 140 and 180 cruise ships during the four-month peak tourist season. In summer 2012, around 300,000 cruise passengers visited the Geirangerfjord. The way cruise ships go ashore is different from that in ordinary cities. Perhaps for environmental protection reasons, the village has not built a pier for large cruise ships to dock. The speedboats on the ship are the only means of docking. Hundreds of thousands of people pass through the village every summer, and tourism is the main business for the 250 people who live there permanently. There are five hotels and more than a dozen campgrounds. The peak tourist season lasts from May to early September. There is a very good restaurant on the mountain. It uses local specialties and the price is reasonable. The scenic Dalsnibár is a mountain in the village of Geiranger, Stranda, in the Norwegian county of Mølømsdal. From the top of the mountain at an altitude of 1,476 meters, you can have a panoramic view of the Geirangerfjord, a world natural heritage site below the mountain. Because it is located in the fjord and at a high altitude, it is often covered with snow even in midsummer and the temperature usually does not exceed 10 degrees. Norwegian Route 63 passes through the south side of the mountain. Outside the road is Lake Jupvanet. There is a hotel on the west bank of the lake. Opposite the hotel is a private toll road leading to the top of Dalsnibal Mountain. The total distance from the toll station to the top of the mountain at an altitude of 1,476 meters is 4.5 kilometers.
