Autumn season, Nature’s Art Palette
#celebratewithtrip
Going to Garmisch-Partenkirchen on an Autumn season has its own charm. The place was romantic surrounded with beautiful plants and trees with its colourful leaves ❤️
Garmisch-Partenkirchen is easy to reach by car or by train from Munich. The city center is not far from the train station. There are also public buses that could bring you to the other parts of the city. The bus tickets are affordable and bus rides are also convenient because I don’t need to find a a parking space which is a kind of tricky in the city center unless you want to pay, then there are plenty of them around 😊
While on a hike, I took all these photos of the colourful leaves that surrounds me. It was nice walking and watching the beautiful view around me as if I am watching a live painting in a canvass!

Zugspitze, Germany’s highest mountain
#spooktaculartrip #tripblazers #fallingforfall Atlast, we arrived at Zugspitze! We wanted to be here on the top a day before but we did not make because the day‘s limit was already reached, so they no longer sold any tickets. The online booking was not possible and what we did was we bought our tickets at the counter for the next day.
Zugspitze can be reached by a special train that starts at Garmisch-Partenkirchen Zugspitze station. The ticket costed 63€ per person and it was really worth it!
On the summit, you can find restaurants and cafes. There is also a museum that showed the history of Zugspitze, its train, the station, the people who built the station and those who were behind the scenes.
While on the summit, we clearly saw the beautiful Eibsee below us and it was stunning 🤩
Zugspitze is a very popular destination of germans and other nationals. The view on the top is breathtaking from in each season.
It was a great experience going up there on the top and everything was really worth the price ❤️

Alpine views, Winter feels
Garmisch-Partenkirchen (in short, GaPa) is a ski town in Bavaria, Germany. The Alps attract skiiers to the town in the winter; in the summer, the mountain make great hiking grounds.
The mountain are so tall that they can be seen even from the city. Alluring views of snow-capped mountains surround the city. On every street and every road, there is bound to be a part of the snowy mountains peeking behind the buildings.
I'd highly recommend a visit to GaPa! It's just a 1 hour train (Deutsche Bahn) ride away from Munich main station.

Best place for coffee in GaPa, Germany
I highly recommend Wildkaffee for a coffee run. This place is really popular, there was a long queue of more than 10 people when I was there at 9am.
Location: Bahnhofstraße 40+42, 82467 Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany
The smell of freshly roasted beans hit me the moment I opened the door and I knew that I was in the right place. Freshly baked bread, great coffee, welcoming staff, warm atmosphere - everything that I need to kickstart my morning. The coffee was so good that I bought some beans back home for my own brew.
There is an outdoor seating area if it gets too crowded indoors.

Zugspitze - the highest mountain in Germany
Cable cars run from Eibsee to the top of Zugspitze for panoramic views. There is a restaurant at the top with great food and stunning views. We were planning to head there for lunch to soak in all the views but unfortunately cable car tickets were sold out for the day (and the whole week). What a bummer. We were told to pre-book our tickets online ahead as they sell out fast, especially in winter.
Ended up playing snow at the foot of the mountain near the car park. Some families brought their sledge there to play and it looked like lots of fun.

Before you should try your first beer and get some classical Bavarian food, it is a must do to walk around this lake next to the highest mountain of Germany!
#scenicspotguide #travelinspiration #germany
Eibsee Lake is one of the most beautiful lakes in southern Germany. A trip to south Germany is stunning in the fall as all of the leaves boast various vibrant colours.
The Zugspitze, at an altitude of 2,962 meters, belongs to the Alps and is the highest mountain in Germany.
This is near the Austrian border. There are two very rare glaciers in the mountains. It is a very famous glacier ski resort in Germany and the highest ski resort in winter.
Generally, you need to drive to the Ebou Lake cable car station and take the cable car to the top of the mountain. It takes about 2 hours for the cable car to line up. It is skiing on the mountain and it is very convenient to rent ski equipment.
Come here to experience the fun of skiing.
The spring and summer scenery here is also very good. There are mountains and lakes with grass and the photos are beautiful.

#cny2024 Visit this pretty ski resort in Christmas, it's totally worth it. Garmisch-Partenkirchen lies in South of Germany and is just about 1.5hrs away from Munich. It's famous for the Zugspitze, Eibsee, Partnach Gorge. I also went to the neighbouring Mittenwald which was covered in snow. Basically, anywhere you walk - it's a beautiful sight as if you're in a real-life Universal Studios.
Germany highest mountain Zigspitze
Zugspitze is the highest peak of the Wetterstein Mountains and the highest mountain in Germany. It lies south of the town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen in Bavaria, and the Austria–Germany border is on its western summit. South of the mountain is the Zugspitzplatt, a high karst plateau with numerous caves.
I took the cable car not very cheap , for the cable car ride is around 90 euro two ways trip.Regardless, it's still worth it. The view from Germany's highest mountain (2,962 m / 9,718 ft above sea level; and the highest peak of the Wetterstein Mountains) is impressive.
The journey to this zigspitze is really nice and worth to go there without any hesitation for me.

Partnachklamm
Partnachklamm is a wonderful place.
To get to this place, you can use train from Munich central station to Garmisch Partenkirchen, sometimes the train only until Murnau, means from Murnau you have to use SEV Bus to Garmisch Partenkirchen (because some reparations with the train rails).
From Garmisch Partenkirchen, you should take bus 1/2 to stadium. From there you can walk about 10 minutes the the entrance of Partnachklamm. For the entry ticket cost 6€ (pay cash or card) both available.
The temperature in summer is quite fresh (a bit cold) if you are using shorts or if you’re from summer land 😅
So make sure you use comfortable clothes. If you have trekking shoes, would be better for the forest after Partnachklamm.
Recommendation
- go early in the morning, the best is take train on 7 or 8 am. You will be in Partnachklamm early, so not many people there.
- don’t forget bring some snacks.
- enjoy the nature/river at the end of Partnachklamm.
- continue tracking back to the entry through the forest, you will enjoy the trip.
