#wheretogo A must-visit place, very beautiful scenery, professional staff, and the overall attention to detail is amazing! They really go the extra mile to delight their guests. Free entry, free wifi are a genius ideas to attract people, and it is very difficult not to buy anything ☺️ You can get all sorts of 🪻 lavender-related products here. Very lovely place to wander round. We visited late October and there were still some flowers to view although not much lavender. Shops selling all things lavender and a cafe attached too with simple meals, melon and lavender ice cream.

Beutiful Flowers & More At Farm Tomita

Farm tomita is one of the largest farms in Furano and a day here is never enough. In fact, my family and I loved Fram tomita so much we spent hours and couldn't bear to leave it. Farm tomita has huge flower fields and these flowers were so pretty and they were of different colours and types. Then, there's also a large lavender field, which was a sea of purple and calming lavender flowers. The whole place smells heavenly and relaxing with the lavender scent filling up the whole air. Do buy their famous lavender ice cream, I guarantee you will love it. The special lavender ice cream was milky with a hint of lavender taste and it was a great dessert in the summer heat. Next head over to their melon fields and there is a cafe next to it selling their popular melons and melon ice blended drink. The melon was sweet, juicy and refreshing and it was the same for the drink. They were the best melon and drink I have ever tasted! Overall, love the atmosphere and experience at farm tomita. Hokkaido's breathtaking field

Farm Tomita is one of Hokkaido’s largest tourist attraction site. It has various beautiful flower fields including the 5-hectare lavender field and other flower gardens. The lavender flowers were almost gone when we visited. The best time to visit Farm Tomita is in late June to early August. During this time the flowers in the garden will be in bloom and a colorful sight can be experienced. Farm Tomita is a 25-minute walk from JR Furano Station. There is a special “Furano-Biei Norokko-go” train that runs between Asahikawa and Furano from June to mid-September. The train stops at the special station Lavender Farm Station, which is a 7-minute walk to Farm Tomita. Let's Go Shopping in The Forest 🌳

I am not kidding when I say "Let's go shopping in the forest". There is a place where you can literally shop in a forest and it feels like a fairy tale or magical place In the middle of a forest. This place is called Ningle Terrance, located in Furano region of Hokkaido. Inside of Ningle Terrance are many small little wooden cottages and each of them sells different craft works, bags, accessories or a small coffee shop/cafe. It is refreshing to shop in the middle of nature and it is a unique experience as well. The place is pretty as you can see lush greenery and it is decorated with beautiful fairy lights, it takes you to a different world at Ningle terrace. The whole area there is not very big and you can cover the whole place within 1-2 hours. It is not very crowded too, which makes it a more enjoyable place to shop, take a look and walk around Ningle terrace. Don't forget to visit this unique place, if you're in Furano. #wecreate

Winter Elf Forest

#furano #winter2022 Walking into a fairy tale forest that looks like a page out of a children’s picture book in a winter night. The experience was out of the world. Named after mystical dwarves who are believed to live in the forest, Ningle Terrace is a picturesque village of quaint wooden cottages tucked in the forest just steps away from Shin Furano Prince Hotel.

The most anticipated place for this trip: Furano Forest Elf Terrace. The Forest Elf Terrace can be said to be a very very partial attraction. In fact, it is not an attraction. It is a commercial street of the New Furano Prince Hotel. The wooden cabin in the woods is completely a fairy tale picture! There must be an elf in the forest? The neling balcony ningle terrace, inspired by a character in the Japanese writer Cang Bencong's novel (accurately an elf living in the forest), built a forest hand-made experience workshop, where the flashing lights flashed Behind, maybe you really hide the elf! The roof of the cabin is covered with thick snow and warm yellow light. The wooden houses are also connected by snowy wooden paths. With the small lights on the handrails, I feel myself again. Ningle Terrace is a small village made up of around 15 huts hidden in the forest. This area is just beside the Prince ski resort. There are several wooden huts each with a different skilled craftsman working on and selling their trinkets of art and souvenir. The price is targeted at tourists so most people go for the photo taking only. In 2024, I want to go to Niigata and experience snow there. #2024wish

Hokkaido 8 days plan during Winter - Part 3

Day 5 - After breakfast, suppose to take a tram to Makomanai then take a bus to Takino Suzuran (9:45am bus) , however we miss the bus and we took a taxi instead. Stayed at Furano Prince Hotel Hokkaido for 2 nights. This hotel have everything that you need for skiing to best Japanese buffet and they also have a little own town that you can walk around. the ski lift is just next to the hotel and our package is included all the ski gear from top to bottom. love it! #triplocal

Hokkaido is really big, and we like to thoroughly explore every place, so we only played in Furano and Sapporo for 5 days. 🚇: Recommend downloading the transfer guide app, which provides routes and prices, very convenient. ✨Attractions, entertainment, food, and accommodation 8️⃣Must-visit list sorted out with great effort Suggestion‼️Bookmark‼️Super practical and niche 1️⃣ Find a beautiful and comfortable homestay We stayed at the Akane Guesthouse in Nakafurano. Friendly and hospitable host, delicious and healthy meals, talkative and friendly tenants, everything is so perfect. It gets dark around 4:30 pm every day, so it is recommended to go to bed early and get up early. There is a large floor-to-ceiling glass window where you can enjoy a cup of coffee and the snowy scenery in the homestay, which is really comfortable~ The scenery near the homestay is also excellent‼️ 2️⃣[Must go skiing] Recommend the Prince Hotel Furano ski resort, rent a full set of skiing ⛷️ equipment for 8500/person, 🉑 play for 5 hours. The first time skiing was full of falls but also very fun. After 3 hours, I was already exhausted from the heavy shoes and skis. 3️⃣[Fairy Terrace in the World of Fairy Tales] The Elf Terrace is right next to the ski resort. I highly recommend the afternoon tea at "Forest Clock". Their cakes are delicious! Every little shop on the Elf Terrace is like a fairy tale world, especially beautiful when the lights come on in the evening. 4️⃣[A Romantic Must-Visit in Otaru with Your Loved One] It is recommended to take a slow train when visiting Otaru. There is really a "Spirited Away" sea train, and the slow train will pass through Asari, a place worth visiting. The blue sky and sea, flying seagulls, make people immersed in it. Otaru is the filming location of "Love Letter". Almost everyone who comes here will get the same poster. The abandoned railway passing by occasionally is so charming. The Otaru Music Box Museum is very girly, and once you go in, you won't want to leave! 5️⃣[The smelly rotten egg valley of Noboribetsu Hell] It is a volcanic crater, with water holes spewing out hot smoke like a roar, as if in the hell of fire, and the smell of sulfur like rotten eggs permeates everywhere here. I couldn't bear it a little bit. The process of climbing up and down the mountain was difficult and really slippery. But the scenery on the mountain is also extremely beautiful, so it's worth going up. 6️⃣[Must-try food to check in] Hell's Valley has a honey ice cream shop 🍦 that is super delicious 🍯 (see picture of storefront). The fried chicken in the commercial street of Otaru Station is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside! Super delicious~ Lawson is my favorite breakfast every day, you can buy anything without stepping on a mine. When you come across a good homestay, you can also order homemade breakfast and dinner, every meal is exquisite!

All things white: milk, snow (even cheese!)

The first time me and my family had driven past the Furano Cheese Factory, I had only been attracted by the interesting architecture and had vowed silently to myself that I would return later on. Then, due to some miraculous turn of fate, my family did end up going there! The intricate architecture and rusty feel really made the whole place feel warm and homey, despite the freezing weather outside. The dairy products sold over there were also amazing and delectable, you should definitely give their milk flavoured ice cream a try! #mytripvlog #wintergetaway

Furano Cheese Factory

#2023travelwish We did not join the cheese-making workshop or others but we had a wonderful time shopping/eating their dairy products. The freshly bottled milk is very naturally sweet and creamy and is a must try in my opinion! #hokkaido #friendstrip #furano #2015

A cheese Factory located at Furano. This place offer you to see the process on how they make Cheese. At 1st floor, you can see the production line and at the 2nd floor they sell food that made from the cheese. There is free tasting for the cheese too. The enroute was picturesque. They had many varieties of cheese and it is free to taste. Must try the Fresh Milk there. It was actually fresh. The machines used for making the cheese were displayed but there was no guide to explain! If you walk behind the factory, there is pizza stall and ice cream shop. You have to try the pizza, it taste good, it cost around 1000 yen. The cheese was really fresh and it made the pizza more delicious. It is one of the best pizzas i had ever tasted. Behind the pizza store, there will be a shop that sell ice cream. There was also an Ice cream parlour and they were fresh and delicious. Absolutely enjoyed the double scoop ice cream. #givethanks #givethanks

In addition to the night view of the Elf Terrace, the Furano New Prince Hotel has a secret: Mori Time Calculator. Sen's Time Cafe is the most important scene of the Japanese drama "Tender Moment", which runs through one of Kurano's Furano trilogy. It was originally built for the filming of the TV series. There are too many fans who come here to make the cafe open to this day. It is hidden in the forest, the path is deep, and there are towering trees on both sides. Follow the not so obvious indication wooden sign. After a round trip, you can see that there is a black cabin at the end of the path.
