Let's Go Shopping in The Forest 🌳

I am not kidding when I say "Let's go shopping in the forest". There is a place where you can literally shop in a forest and it feels like a fairy tale or magical place In the middle of a forest. This place is called Ningle Terrance, located in Furano region of Hokkaido. Inside of Ningle Terrance are many small little wooden cottages and each of them sells different craft works, bags, accessories or a small coffee shop/cafe. It is refreshing to shop in the middle of nature and it is a unique experience as well. The place is pretty as you can see lush greenery and it is decorated with beautiful fairy lights, it takes you to a different world at Ningle terrace. The whole area there is not very big and you can cover the whole place within 1-2 hours. It is not very crowded too, which makes it a more enjoyable place to shop, take a look and walk around Ningle terrace. Don't forget to visit this unique place, if you're in Furano. #wecreate

During the Biei tour, we stayed in front of Ninguru Terrace for about an hour. You can take your time and just look around Ninguru Terrace, but there is another place you must visit. In front of Ninguru Terrace, there is Shin-Furano Prince Hotel, and there is a souvenir shop on the 2nd floor. The first time me and my family had driven past the Furano Cheese Factory, I had only been attracted by the interesting architecture and had vowed silently to myself that I would return later on. Then, due to some miraculous turn of fate, my family did end up going there! The intricate architecture and rusty feel really made the whole place feel warm and homey, despite the freezing weather outside. The dairy products sold over there were also amazing and delectable, you should definitely give their milk flavoured ice cream a try! #mytripvlog #wintergetaway

Farm Tomita is one of Hokkaido’s largest tourist attraction site that brings in over 1 million people annually from all over Japan and the world. Lavender blooms from late June to early August. The vibrant purple scenery sprawled across Furano is a sign of early summer for Hokkaido.Sadly, I came here too late and didn't see the lavender. At Farm Tomita, there are a variety of flowers grown other than lavenders. A pleasant view is offered throughout the seasons with various flowers. At the entrance of the farm is the Hanabito Field. When Hokkaido finally enters spring in May, grape hyacinth and viola start to bloom. From early supper to autumn red and yellow flowers such as marigold and silver cock’s comb start to fill the fields. *Access -It is a 25-minute walk from JR Furano Station to Farm Tomita. Also from June to mid-September the special “Furano-Biei Norokko-go” train runs between Asahikawa and Furano. The train stops at the special station Lavender Farm Station, which is a 7-minute walk to Farm Tomita.

It was a nice tour. Tips for those taking this tour, wear shoes. Your feet will get really dirty. Bring also something to wipe your face with. During our trip, it was very windy and dusty. Our white shoes/ sandals turned brown 😅 the flowers are beautiful, but expect a lot of people. The tour guide is good, but I found it hard to understand his English. His main language is Chinese and Japanese. For the buffet lunch, it was just a regular lunch/menu, only buffet style. The melons are sweet, not so sure if they are really the expensive ones. #summervacation

Stayed at Furano Prince Hotel Hokkaido for 2 nights. This hotel have everything that you need for skiing to best Japanese buffet and they also have a little own town that you can walk around. the ski lift is just next to the hotel and our package is included all the ski gear from top to bottom. love it! #triplocal

This sea of flowers can be seen during the Summer in Ciba, Prefecture, #Japan. It is said to be the most famous sightseeing farm in Japan, having lots of attraction inside the actual farm. It is so huge that it is necessary to ride a bus while touring inside. It was lots of fun. We saw cows, thousands of flowers, and sheeps! #wintergetaway

Apart from the jam making class, this place is really a just a jam shop, but a very very pretty jam shop tucked in a corner of a forest with a gurgling stream running past it. Its inside is just as pretty, all done up with wood and soft lighting. And the array of jams sold there is simply mind boggling. Besides the usual fruit jams, it also sold jars of Japanese red bean paste (very good. recommended) and black bean paste, as well as savoury pastes such as black beans with garlic. Sampling is allowed. If you have a sweet tooth, you may not be able to leave this place. There is also a very cozy cafe with huge windows looking out into the verdant forest. It's really very pretty. Unfortunately, the cafe was not open when we were there and I'm not sure of the opening hours. Do set aside some time to come here. #givethanks #givethanks

When we arrived at Furano from Otaru, all we saw were bare or green fields. Our expectations were not high so we were extremely delighted to see brightly coloured flowers at Farm Tomita. Rows and rows of neatly planted flowers in rainbow hues greeted us. It is the first time we have seen such a colourful field. The place is huge and colorful with many kinds of flowers. Better spend more time there. I believe most of the time should be crowd with tourists. Parking was adequate in the vicinity and there were cafes selling lavender ice cream and souvenir stores.
