The smallest of Spain’s Balearic Islands, Formentera is a must-visit when exploring the Mediterranean. Formentera is so small, there is no airport, so arriving by boat is the only way you can access this pretty little island.
There is a regular ferry depart from Ibiza going to Formentera.
What is Formentera well know for is it turquoise sea , you have to be here to experience it .The Beach also less crowded then the main Beach over at Ibiza .Sea water temperature is just right to cool down the heat form the summer sun .
One thing to take note there is not shower or washroom around. but nevertheless it still worth the trip to go
I fell in love with the restaurant.

I heard that it is a restaurant that only the owner of the ship can make a reservation. After we rented the yacht, the boss helped us make a reservation, which was very delicious and the scenery was also very beautiful.
The service is a top notch , the staff is very friendly. The meal was great had several seafood and they helped us to prepare them well and just dig in .Sure recommend.
Formentera in Ibiza....I highly recommend, beautiful island with white sand and clear waters. Take the ferry for a more scenic tour.
Es Pujols beach is a must-see.
Can get the L1 Bus there. 15 minutes away.
I recommend going Santa Eulalia, Cala Llonga, Es Canar, San Carlos, also the Hippie Market!
You can get Mini Train to city and beach locations all over Ibiza.

Formentera Ibiza
My absolute favorite island in the world. Formentera is absolutely a must when you visit ibiza. The beaches are just so beautiful and lovely. you take a ferry over and you can spend the whole day. either go to a beach at a hotel or the public beaches. they are all the same. delicious food and beautiful views!!#2023travelwish #tripblazers #beachlife #formentera #ibiza
Rest guaranteed in Formentera
If you are looking for white beaches and an azure blue sea, you don't always have to travel to the Caribbean. With an area of about 83 km², the island of Formentera south of Ibiza can rightly be called small, it does have a wide range of turquoise water and paradisiacal beaches. This is due to the 'posidonia oceanica' phenomenon - a hedge of tall seagrass plants surrounding the island that filters the water and gives it this beautiful turquoise color.
The 69 km long coastline has dozens of bays and small and long sandy beaches and the many wooden decking paths often make access to the beach easy.
Unlike Ibiza, you will not find any high-rise buildings here, there is hardly a party scene and special – jet skis are nowhere for rent. Rest guaranteed in Formentera.
