Remarkable rocks
#australiatrip Remarkable Rocks are a group of naturally sculpted granite boulders located in Flinders Chase National Park on Kangaroo Island, South Australia. These striking formations, shaped by wind, rain, and sea spray over millions of years, are perched on a large granite outcrop overlooking the Southern Ocean. Their unique shapes and balanced positions make them a popular subject for photography, especially during sunrise and sunset when the light enhances their textures and colors. The area is accessible via a boardwalk, ensuring that visitors can safely enjoy the views while preserving the delicate environment. Remarkable Rocks are one of Kangaroo Island's most iconic landmarks and a must-see for visitors to the island.

Fur Seal Lookout
#australiatrip So beautiful to watch all the seals seems enjoying the sea. It's a bit of a walk before reaching the Fur Seal Look out. There is a nice cave look alike rocks for photo taking but it's a very busy area. Can be very windy wear something comfortable that won't easily get blown, and don't forget to put sunscreen. No shop closeby did not see a toilet, but there is a toilet near lighthouse (oldstyle that you can see a big hole) g

The Admirals Arch
#australiatrip Quite a long walk down the boardwalk and there are steps at the bottom, so not wheelchair accessible. There are a few viewing platforms along the way and a colony of seals playing on the rocks too. My suggestion would be to skip the Seal Bay viewing platform as you can see loads of seals here. The Remarkable Rocks
#australiatrip Remarkable Rocks are possible to visit as one of three attractions with ticket from national park. This is probably part of the visit on Kangaroo Island which made the biggest impression on me. We were lucky to visit the place with not too many people around as we came kind of early (around 10). On the day we came in the park was really windy so I recommend to take the jacket with you when you’re there, even in the summer season.

Flinders Chase National Park
#australiatrip Flinders Chase National Park is a true sanctuary for nature enthusiasts! From rugged coastlines to lush forests, this park offers a diverse array of landscapes that will leave you in awe.
The Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch are absolute must-sees. The surreal shapes of the rocks against the backdrop of the ocean are truly breathtaking, and the natural bridge of Admirals Arch is a marvel of nature's craftsmanship.
The park's wildlife is another highlight. Kangaroos, wallabies, and echidnas roam freely, and if you're lucky, you might spot a sleepy koala high up in the eucalyptus trees.
The trails are well-marked and offer varying levels of difficulty, catering to both casual strollers and avid hikers. Don't miss out on the chance to explore the hidden gems tucked away off the beaten path.
The Visitor Centre provides valuable information about the park's history, flora, and fauna. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly, ready to assist with any inquiries or recommendations.
Whether you're a solo traveler, a family on vacation, or a group of friends seeking adventure, Flinders Chase National Park is a destination that will leave a lasting impression. Highly recommended for anyone looking to reconnect with nature and experience the beauty of South Australia's wilderness.
