A popular Kamameshi restaurant in Eniwa. The seats are semi-private and spacious, which is really nice. You order via a touch panel. Once you place your order, the dishes are brought out one after another. The speed is astonishingly fast, even the Kamameshi arrived quickly! There are so many types of Kamameshi to choose from that it's hard to decide. On the way to the restaurant, I asked the taxi driver if one Kamameshi per person would be okay, and he said it would be fine. However, since we ordered a variety of dishes, sharing might have been a better idea. As expected from their specialty, it was delicious. I was even tempted to buy some Kamameshi to take out. Since the broth and condiments come with it, you can finish off with Ochazuke. The sashimi was also delicious, even though it's not a seaside town, so I recommend it. However, I was a bit concerned that it came with dashi soy sauce (I prefer regular soy sauce for sashimi). Although I didn't order them, the restaurant also had Chinese and Western dishes, even though it looked like a Japanese restaurant.

A bakery located inside the roadside station in Eniwa. I don't usually eat bread, but I was happy to find this bakery so recommended. Popular items include pumpkin pudding bread and apple bread. It's twice as soft as I imagined! The fluffy dough feels so gentle and makes me happy. I didn't try it, but apparently the bread was also fluffy. In addition to bread, they also sell Hokkaido specialty (apparently) lemon cake and jam. There is an eat-in corner, but it was still fluffy even when I ate it the next morning, so it's delicious even if you take it out. Ecorin Village is a theme park rich in nature 🌳 I was surprised to see so many tomatoes growing from one trunk in Tomato Forest!! The Fairfield is characterized by its location next to a roadside station. The facilities are also similar. The Fairfield in Eniwa, Hokkaido is no exception. I stayed at Fairfield by Marriott Hokkaido Eniwa🕊️ This hotel doesn't have a restaurant, but they provided a breakfast box😋 In true Hokkaido fashion, the menu featured soup curry🍛 It was great to have a mechanism where pulling a string heats up the curry, allowing you to enjoy it piping hot. The surrounding corridor buildings are also simple and elegant. The plain wooden exterior walls, coupled with the staggered eaves curves of different heights and distances, create a neat and Zen-like architectural style. The ingenious rockery, green trees and flower ponds in the courtyard add a touch of poetic vitality to this simple and plain environment. Walking into the park along the winding forest path, it feels like a cold galaxy surrounding your feet. Walking along the path is like being in a dreamlike world.

This waterfall was part of our "romantic bus service". Apparently this is one of 3 waterfalls in the region. During this time of the year you can see the leaves turning yellow and red. The contrast with few remaining green trees makes this waterfall sight to behold. If you are lucky to have the whole day to explore the area. You should walk and explore all three waterfalls in nature. Be sure to get warm cloths as it can get cold during October. Easy parking. Toilets and a vending machine. When we were there a small mobile coffee cart was also there.
