## Van Gogh's waterwheel restaurant
Van Gogh has painted two waterwheels (The Opwetten Watermill, Coll Watermill) and a windmill (De Roosdonck Windmill) in Newnan. 130 In the past, the waterwheels and windmills, as well as the surrounding scenery, have remained unchanged, maintaining the appearance of the year!
It is worth mentioning that there is such a restaurant in Newnan, which is the prototype of the van Gogh painting waterwheel. The appearance of the restaurant still remains the same, but the interior decoration is still very stylish. If you are a fanatic, I suggest you never miss it. The meals provided by the
restaurant are not very rich for me, but I think Van Gogh is enough.

Nuenen | A fairytale town where you can feel Van Gogh's presence everywhere
🎨 Although it's still a bit cold in the Netherlands during spring, it is also the most beautiful season. I came to this small town called Nuenen, located to the east of Eindhoven in the Netherlands. This quiet and beautiful town is picturesque, with lawns, windmills, and fairytale-like houses on the streets.
🎨 This is also where Van Gogh stayed from 1883 to 1885. Most of his works from that period were created in this town. During the two years Van Gogh lived in Nuenen, he completed nearly a quarter of his paintings!
🎨 The scenes depicted in his paintings still exist today, such as the church in 'The Church at Nuenen'; next to it, a frame has been erected, marking the exact perspective Van Gogh painted from. The house where he lived is still inhabited; the church he sketched, with its spire still solemn and dignified; and that green tunnel of trees and vegetation... Long ago, Van Gogh walked through here with his easel on his back...
🎨 The album I hold in my hands is a collection of Van Gogh's paintings from Nuenen. Following the coordinates of the buildings in the album, I checked off the places where Van Gogh painted. It feels truly magical; a century has swiftly passed, and the painter's cottage hasn't changed at all. The town seems as if nothing has happened, still as tranquil as before.
🎨 There's a Van Gogh museum in the town, not large, but rich in collections. Visitors who like Van Gogh definitely shouldn't miss it. To commemorate Van Gogh, the townspeople have erected a statue and a monument of him at the station. Here, you can feel Van Gogh's presence everywhere.
🎨 I highly recommend coming here when traveling to the Netherlands, especially for those who love art like me; you will feel it's a journey well worth it. Walking around the town, the fresh style elevates one's understanding of European towns and offers a different insight and imagination towards painting art and the painter Van Gogh. The feeling of being immersed in the buildings seen in the paintings is hard to describe in words, a vividness that can't be conveyed under the solemnity of museums. The scenery before your eyes is history, the little houses you can touch are history, and the scent of flowers and greenery you breathe in is history.
🎨 The town is small, and you can walk through it in one day. Perhaps because of the beautiful and leisurely atmosphere, the townspeople live a relaxed life, unhurried. Although small, the town has nice restaurants, fries shops, and little bars, mostly frequented by older people, perhaps because the younger generation prefers to seek their fortunes in the big cities. It's common to see elderly couples sitting outside a café, each with a glass of wine in the sunshine, chatting at a leisurely pace. It's a very comfortable feeling.
🎨 My guide took me to the most famous local restaurant, and the taste was amazing. We each ordered a glass of wine, and he playfully winked, saying the beer he ordered was his favorite, so cute.
🎨 I'll talk to you about the restaurant next time~
Nuenen was originally a quiet and beautiful town in the eastern part of Eindhoven, but it became very important for Van Gogh's small living in 1883-1885.
Most of the works of that period were created in this small town. Today, the government has specially dressed 22 real scenes created by Van Gogh to create a cultural tourism route of Van Gogh.
Receiving us is an 82-year-old local grandfather. He is healthy, enjoys life, likes Van Gogh, is a volunteer guide. He patiently and meticulously told us a lot about Van Gogh's story in Newnan.
Van Gogh's life, just 37 years, the real painting time is less than 10 years, but left a lot of legendary works for future generations.

Philips Museum Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
The Philips Museum
Eindhoven brings together a large number of high-tech corporate headquarters, and the most famous, Philips is one of them. The entrance to the museum begins with a long photo wall, such as a space-time corridor, about Philips' birth, prosperity, and outstanding contributions to the country. There is no need to worry about the language. It is quite intimate with a Chinese guide.
Philips, which has made its name with electric lights, should not be underestimated in medical, home appliances and entertainment. If I don't come here, I am afraid I will not take the initiative to understand all of this.
Philips Museum The Children's Science Program is also held frequently to let children know the principles of light and electricity in physics in a fun way. A lot of people came on a non-weekend afternoon. Think about the exam-oriented education we receive, and the education in front of us is naturally enviable. Therefore, it is not only suitable for adults, but also a paradise for children.

Netherlands | Philips Museum
Product people dream of Philips Museum!
Come to Dutch Design Week, the ticket to this museum is included! Only we foolishly bought tickets separately, spending 6 euros. I'll get a refund tomorrow! I don't know if I can get it back 😑
The first part of the exhibition hall is some development introductions, followed by some classic product exhibitions, and finally should be some interactive and service designs related to human health that they are doing. After watching, I also feel very sad. When China was still what it was, they had already industrialized. I recorded a video and will edit it when I have time. Hehe
When I was in university, I discussed the Philips brand with my classmates, and I learned that it was a brand from the Netherlands, which was out of reach! But today I'm here! So the sense of goal makes me step by step closer to the things I like. Later, I found that when I really make up my mind to do something, I feel that all resources are converging towards me. Come on, girls!
Philips Lamp Factory Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Does Philips have more than a razor? Einstein is here for class, the museum punches ~
For the Philips brand, I believe everyone has heard it. They are Dutch brands. This is the first time I heard that I always thought it was domestic...
History
This brand was founded in the Netherlands in 1891 and mainly produces photos, home appliances and so on. So far, the location sells their products in 150 countries, which can be said to be spread all over the world.
Everyone on the Philips brand, the impression is that they are only selling razors, because the most visible advertisements on the TV set are Philips razors, and over time they feel like they are not selling other things.
Philips Museum
This museum is located in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, which is the fourth largest industrial city in the Netherlands and one of the four high-tech gathering places in Europe. Can reflect the greatness of this place. The first factory in Philips was built here, but over time, the factory was old and unused, so it was transformed into a museum.
This factory was the first light bulb factory built by Philips in 1891, so as the name implies, this is where Philips built the light bulb. The museum shows the history of the light bulb and also shows Philips. The history of development.
Here you can experience a variety of interesting project experiments or activities in addition to visiting. Personally, the most fun thing to do is to look at thermal imaging and explore your own mystery. ~
Address The
museum is right next to the Eindhoven train station. If you walk, you don't need to be jealous for 5 minutes. If you happen to be here, you must remember to check it out. Don't miss it~
Tickets and time
Monday is not Open, if everyone remembers correctly, it is 9 euros~ If the family goes together, there is a ticket, which is very cost-effective~
Kazerne Restaurant Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Kazerne (Home of design) This is a very artistic restaurant. The building where the restaurant is located is a century-old building, formerly a police station. Now in addition to the restaurant or the furniture design exhibition hall. Its also a lucky season to catch the truffles. Usually, when you sprinkle the truffle powder, it means to eat truffles. I was the first time I saw this large amount of truffles~ (I later saw the overwhelming McDonald's Truffle Burgers, which went to eat a meal, but the screen didn't see it~) It seems like this How can countries that are inundated by sea water not eat oysters? What's more, the Dutch people are very environmentally conscious, and I don't worry about pollution. The three of us have come down like this, adding more than 100 euros to the wine and consumption. The price is quite high.
