Edmonton is Alberta's capital city and is often known to be a boring town. However, if you look a bit further, the city has plenty to offer. Most importantly the city offers great outdoors fun. The Edmonton River Valley is a great place to walk along the river and get sweeping views of the city, this all being 5 mins from the city center. Have a look around downtown and it's skyline. Also make a stop at the Alberta Legislative Building, which does have a more rustic feel to it as it's mostly in stone. Moving across the river you'll come across the Old Strathcona district which is a hipper and trendier side of Edmonton which you'll find restaurants and shops. Overall, Edmonton is not a huge city but still has some nice sights to visit. You'll not only be greeted by not only a city but also nature and friendly people. After spending two days in Edmonton, a simple and quiet little city, I came to know that it is the fifth largest city in Canada and the capital of Alberta. There are more than 600 bisons in the Elk Island National Park near Edmonton, but it is a pity at noon. Only one is swaying at the door. We all suspect that the staff squirrel is not rare, but the eyes are white. Squirrel have you seen it! The last hour of kayaking, the first time I tried a single person, it was a bit swaying. Back to the city in the afternoon, the balance car experience is quite cool, you can consider a contemporary step tool.

It consists of four crystal-clear 'glass pyramids', each showcasing different flowers with different themes every year, housing tens of thousands of plants. Three of the pyramids simulate unique terrains and climates: desert, tropical rainforest, and temperate wetland. The remaining one displays seasonal flowers, mainly ornamental. No matter what season you visit this greenhouse botanical garden, there are unexpected surprises. Just by taking a tour around these four magical pyramids, you can experience the changing seasons and understand the vegetation characteristics of various corners of the Earth, hence the garden is also known as the 'Pyramid Oasis'. The central hall fountain was built to commemorate the first official visit of Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom (who is also the head of state of Canada). A statue of Princess Louise Caroline Alberta, after whom the province is named, stands on the northwest side of the hall. The legislature building is situated on a green lawn, surrounded by towering cypress trees. The building has five floors, and the brown-yellow carved stone columns give it a sense of age. The main building has a round tower, and the arched roof is topped with the Canadian flag. The building is now listed as a well-known local attraction, and visitors can enter the building for a tour by appointment. Unfortunately, we were short on time and couldn't go inside.
