I recently visited Sumba Island, located further east of Bali. One of the most memorable spots was Maujawa Beach. The white sandy beach and the crystal-clear blue water were so beautiful that it felt like a dream. There are no major tourist attractions nearby, so it felt like a private beach with very few tourists around. It was also a great memory to take photos with the locals who were playing there and excitedly saying 'photo, photo!' You need a car or a bike to get there, so it's best to ask a guide or rent one yourself!

Sumba Island in Indonesia offers a delightful spot. It's located deep in the mountains, and you need a local to take you there by motorbike. It took about 3 hours from the main area. The cold water and beautiful nature were incredibly refreshing. I want to go again with a swimsuit and sandals. Getting around Sumba Island is difficult without a car or motorbike. Some roads are not well-maintained, so it's recommended to join a tour.
