Dozza, the Italian village of murals
#外游
There is a very artistic town in Italy called Dozza, located in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy, about 20 kilometers from Bologna
The artistic village Dozza has always maintained its medieval appearance. When you walk into it, you will find that Dozza is actually very small, with only two relatively large streets.
But what makes it unique is that there are many painted walls of different styles throughout the village, and many of the works have been passed down from the 1960s to the present day.
Every house in the town has become very artistic, with paintings on the walls, making it look like an open-air gallery or museum. The artist's information and the year of the work are also written under each painting.
It turns out that since the 1960s, a group of artists have been invited to paint on the Dozza walls every two years, and this tradition continues to this day.
So far, more than 200 artists have participated in the mural painting activities here, and La Biennale del Muro Dipinto, a biennial mural celebration, has become a highlight of Dozza every two years.
