Shanghai🛫12h to arrive📍Zurich Day 1️⃣ Switzerland🇨🇭: University of Fribourg🏬 ➡️ Swiss Army Knife Factory ➡️ Basel Lunch at the University of Fribourg cafeteria ⬆️ The university botanical garden🌳 is great for photos🤳 and was a filming location for Tintin ⬆️ Authentic Swiss Army knives are all made in Switzerland 🌃 Overnight in Basel (the tri-border area of Germany, France, and Switzerland) Day 2️⃣ Switzerland🇨🇭: Stroll to the Rhine River ➡️ Check in at the tri-border monument ➡️ Visit IWC factory🏭 ➡️ Dinner🥣 at Zeughauskeller ⬆️ Basel Cathedral is right by the Rhine River, very scenic👍 perfect for photos🤳 and check-ins ⬆️ Walk around the monument, ✅ cross three countries in 10 seconds ⬆️ Dinner at a popular Zurich restaurant🍴 converted from an armory, requires queuing, flavor is on the salty side, average overall (reservation recommended) After dinner, you can explore nearby, 🈶 Churchill’s former residence and a 200-year-old outdoor swimming pool (women only) Day 3️⃣ Switzerland🇨🇭 - Germany🇩🇪: Lindhof Park ➡️ Bahnhofstrasse ⬆️ Lindhof Park is the highest point in Zurich city❗️ The guide said it’s a must-visit with kids in Zurich — you can see ETH Zurich (alma mater of Einstein and Schrödinger) Day 4️⃣ Germany🇩🇪: Stuttgart ➡️ Audi Factory🏭 ➡️ Munich (snow edition) Day 5️⃣ Germany🇩🇪: Munich Residenz ➡️ BMW Museum ➡️ Football match ⬆️ Munich Residenz is large and luxurious, definitely worth a visit, great for photos and art appreciation👍 Next to the Residenz is a luxury shopping street, worth visiting if you have time🛍️ Day 6️⃣ Germany🇩🇪: Neuschwanstein Castle ⬆️ You need to go uphill, but it’s all flat terrain with zero difficulty, about a 40-minute hike. The carriage ride up costs 6 euros one way. Since it was snowy, I chose to hike up and take the carriage down. The castle is relatively small, so the visit is quick.
