The Zigong International Dinosaur Lantern Festival opened on January 17. This is the 31st lantern festival. This year's lantern festival is themed "Lanterns Celebrate China, A Myriad of Wonders" and features seven themed areas, 12 extra-large lantern displays, 7 large lantern displays, and over 200 medium and small lantern displays, making it the largest lantern festival to date. 1⃣️Intangible cultural heritage: The lantern festival incorporates intangible cultural heritage such as porcelain, Sichuan opera, colorful lanterns, blow molding, and paper cutting. 2⃣️Technology: Cutting-edge technology such as artificial intelligence is used to create AI mechanical dinosaur lanterns and the "Dinosaur Valley" scenic area. 3⃣️Park activities: 600 drones perform every night. After the Spring Festival, there will be special themed performances every weekend and on important holidays. 4⃣️Food: The lantern festival features famous intangible cultural heritage and specialty food brands from all over the country, with nearly 100 specialty restaurants on site, allowing visitors to experience "Sichuan food, Zigong flavor." 5⃣️Lighting time: January 17–28 Ticket prices: During the first to fifteenth days of the first lunar month, adult tickets are CNY 168 each, and senior and student tickets are CNY 98 each. From January 18–27, February 13, and after, adult tickets are CNY 118 each, and senior and student tickets are CNY 80 each.
