When the 'Zigong Blue' after the rain meets the Zhang Boqing Mansion

Zhang Boqing Mansion, commonly known as 'Zhang Family Garden', was the private club of Zhang Boqing before the liberation, located at the Qinggang Forest beside the Goldfish River at the southern foot of Taiping Mountain. Construction started in 1923, took 3 years to complete, and resulted in the earliest 'western-style house' and unique garden in Gongjing. The main building of Zhang Boqing Mansion was designed by Huang Qiufan, a notable from Deyang who was the head of the Self-Flowing Well Fund Office of the Sichuan Border Defense Army, and was built in the style of the Roman-style buildings of the German consulate at that time, with a total of 14 rooms of various sizes and a building area of 1148 square meters. In 1955, the Zhang Boqing Mansion and Zhang Family Garden were established as the 'Gongjing People's Park' and have been open to the public ever since. On May 3, 2013, the Zhang Boqing Mansion was listed as the seventh batch of national key cultural relics protection units.
