Weekend Flower Viewing Trip

A weekend trip around Zibo brought us to Boshan District's Chishang Town, where the peach blossoms are in full bloom across the hills, simply too beautiful for words. Away from the crowds, with fewer people and better air, quietly enjoying the flowers and taking photos is just too blissful! In the afternoon, we also picked some wild toon sprouts, which were incredibly fragrant! In the evening, we returned to a mountain inn, bought some ingredients from the roadside, and made dishes like toon sprouts with tofu, scrambled eggs with toon sprouts, and noodles mixed with toon sprouts. The table was filled with delicious aromas, the full scent of spring, and both the elderly and children loved it! The next day, we got up early, basked in the sun in the yard, listened to the insects and birds, climbed the mountains, and then went to enjoy a meal of Boshan farmhouse cuisine. The current temperature is the most comfortable of the year, neither cold nor hot, and most importantly, no mosquitoes or flies!
