Huanghuagou Scenic Area is located in Shanggaoqiao Village, Eping Township, Zhuxi County, Shiyan City, Hubei Province. It is 10 km from the Eping Township Government and 25 km from Zhuxi County. For thousands of years, the villagers have passed down a poignant love story: A beautiful woman named Huahua in Huanghuagou fell in love with Taixuan, who was practicing Taoism on Wudang Mountain, but was rejected by Taixuan, who was devoted to Taoism. Huahua was heartbroken and wanted to die for love in Huanghuagou. When Taixuan learned of this, he came to save her. In an instant, the trees in the valley bloomed with yellow flowers and golden fruits, and Huahua also turned into a fairy with yellow clothes and hair. Later, Huahua understood Taixuan and has been helping people in Huanghuagou ever since.
