All Aboard, Off Zhuhai to Islands & Lobsters

Ferried our way to Jiuzhou Island, off the coast of the Mainland on a trip to Zhuhai aboard the Blue Sea Jet. This 40min on-sea trip brought us to this very intimate yet gorgeous island where we spent the day exploring. Trailing up the mountains had us getting the best views of the sea. There are carts open buses that take you up to different parts of the island, as well as great hotels and restaurants. You can trail up a gruesome (only because it was scorching) path to have an incredible sighting of the inexplicable Hong Kong Zhuhai-Macau bridge. Having to actually see both Hong Kong & Macau and not being able to get there because LOCKDOWN was a mental pain worthy of an account here. That said, we opted to have fresh seafood at a local restaurant as we could choose our own freshly caught lobster, prawns and fish. The last ferry departs back to the mainland at 5:30 so get your life together. I saw flying fish on the ferry journey back- a beautiful memory. Tickets- about 100 RMB, ferry is fully indoor, drinks served on board, island is gorgeous, the trip is… you got to go.#zhuhai #macau #hongkong #islandlife
