College Students' Hotel Stay: Zhuhai InterContinental Hotel

Last year when staying in Zhuhai at The St. Regis, I actually considered this InterContinental during hotel selection. However, since InterContinental's prices were consistently similar to The St. Regis, I opted for The St. Regis and planned to try this InterContinental next time. Coincidentally, I recently planned a trip to Chimelong with friends and chose this InterContinental for our Zhuhai stay. Hotel Location ⭐⭐⭐ The InterContinental has an excellent location - within walking distance to Zhuhai Station and Gongbei Port. The seaside is right downstairs (though Zhuhai's sea color is a bit...). Taxi rides to commercial areas are affordable, while getting to the Sun Moon Shell area requires slightly more travel. Hotel Service ⭐⭐⭐ Hotel Facilities ⭐⭐⭐ Though opened in 2018, it's maintained like a newly opened hotel. The standard room, while only 45 sqm, feels more spacious in practice. The bathroom is separate, featuring a built-in bathtub by floor-to-ceiling windows - perfect for evening soaks (though the large mirror facing the tub is puzzling... quite awkward for photos). Didn't get to try the gym or pool this time, but the outdoor infinity pool facing Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge seems insta-worthy. Public areas are lavishly decorated yet somewhat empty, with limited seating. Personally found it very comfortable with excellent bedding - both my friend and I slept soundly. Great option for those heading to Macau the next day or transiting through Zhuhai Station (though The St. Regis remains my top pick, though truth be told, it's quite far from downtown...).
