February 2nd, Dragon Head-Raising Day, see the orca and all your wishes come true!

March 1st is the first day of March, and also the day of the Dragon Head-Raising Festival, the second day of the second lunar month. On this day, we chose to go to Chimelong Hengqin Bay Hotel in Zhuhai to see orcas! We visited Chimelong Ocean Kingdom with the kids in 2018. This time, we came to Chimelong Hengqin Bay Hotel. The biggest difference between Hengqin Bay Hotel and Ocean Kingdom is that it is entirely indoors, with two floors. The first floor is a science popularization section, and the second floor is a deep-sea entertainment city mainly featuring entertainment equipment. Of course, the most interesting orca science theater is also on the second floor, with two shows a day, at 12:00 and 16:00 respectively. Don't miss it! Itinerary: 1. We departed from Yangchun in western Guangdong on Friday evening. After 3 hours and 233 kilometers, we arrived at Shenjing Village next to Chimelong Hengqin Bay Hotel. Seven years ago, when we visited Ocean Kingdom, we also stayed in a B&B here. After so many years, this place has become even more prosperous, especially since the local government has set up uniform entrances and exits, meaning that all vehicles coming to Shenjing Village for accommodation have to pay a fee. In the past, parking was free around here. The former open space has been turned into a basketball court, which is also quite nice. 2. At nine o'clock the next morning, we took the Z55 bus from the Shenjing Village bus stop and got off at the Chimelong stop. We could then directly enter the Hengqin Bay Hotel through the main entrance. Note: Do not get off at the second stop, Hengqin Bay Hotel. This stop is only for hotel guests to enter the park. We had to walk a long way from there to the main entrance. 3. After entering the park, we went up to the second floor first and let the children play in the deep-sea entertainment city. Around 11:30, we lined up at the orca science theater to watch the orca science show starting at 12:00. It was wonderful, a must-see signature show! After watching the orca science show, we continued to explore the deep-sea entertainment city, eating some snacks we brought along the way. Then, we went down to the first floor to see other sections, thus avoiding the crowds at the entrance. Although it was a weekend, it was much better than during the summer vacation. The queues were only about ten minutes long.
