Zhoushan is great, but I won't be back

Hey guys, I recently went to Zhoushan and had a great time! I'm going to share my experience with you, so if you're planning a trip to Zhoushan, take note! 📖 📍Location Zhoushan is a beautiful island city in Zhejiang Province. It has many charming islands, such as Dongji Island, Gouqi Island, and Huaniu Island. Each one is stunning, so you can pick any one of them and have a great time. 🚗Transportation If you're flying, you can fly to Ningbo Lishe International Airport, and then take a bus from the airport to Zhujiajian Wugongzhi Wharf in Zhoushan. The journey takes about an hour and a half, and it's very convenient. If you're taking a high-speed train, you can go to Ningbo Station, and then take a bus from Ningbo South Bus Station to Zhoushan. There are many buses, so you don't have to worry about missing one. 🗺️Itinerary Day 1: Zhujiajian Nansha - Daqingshan National Park After arriving in Zhoushan in the morning, head to Zhujiajian Nansha. The sand here is fine and soft, and it feels great to walk barefoot on it. You can also enjoy various water activities on the beach, such as jet skiing, which is very exciting. 🛶 In the afternoon, go to Daqingshan National Park. Drive along the winding mountain road and enjoy the beautiful scenery and stunning sea views. Every photo you take will be a masterpiece. Day 2: Dongji Island - Miaozihu Island In the morning, take a boat from Zhujiajian Wugongzhi Wharf to Dongji Island. The boat ride takes about two hours, and it can be a bit bumpy, so if you get seasick easily, make sure to bring some seasickness medication. Once you arrive at Dongji Island, head to Miaozihu Island, which is the main island of Dongji Island and the filming location of the movie "The Continent". Take a walk along the coastline and feel the sea breeze. You'll feel like you're the main character in a movie. Day 3: Dongfushan Island Take a boat from Miaozihu Island to Dongfushan Island, which is a great place to watch the sunrise. 🌅 Get up early the next day to watch the sunrise. When the first rays of sunlight hit you, all your fatigue will disappear. There are also many cute animals on the island, which is very healing. 📌Travel tips 1. Check the weather in advance and choose a sunny day to visit. Your photos will look better. 2. The UV rays on the island are very strong, so make sure to protect yourself from the sun. Don't forget sunscreen, sunglasses, and a sun hat. 3. Buy your boat tickets in advance on the official account, especially during peak season, as tickets sell out quickly. 🍜Food 1. Seafood noodles: You must try the seafood noodles in Zhoushan. The bowl is full of fresh seafood, such as shrimp, crab, and shellfish. The soup is delicious, and you'll feel very satisfied after eating it. 2. Grilled squid: Grilled squid is everywhere on the streets. It smells great, and the squid is grilled to perfection. It's chewy and delicious, especially with some seasoning. 3. Seafood barbecue: Have a seafood barbecue in the evening. Order some oysters, scallops, and razor clams, and enjoy them with a refreshing drink. It's very relaxing to eat barbecue while feeling the sea breeze. 🏠Accommodation 1. In Zhujiajian, you can choose a homestay near the sea. You can hear the sound of the waves at night and see the sea in the morning. It's very atmospheric. 2. On Dongji Island, I recommend staying in the center of Miaozihu Island. It's convenient for getting around, and there are many restaurants and shops nearby. ⚠️Notes 1. You may get seasick on the boat, so bring some seasickness medication. Sitting by the window may help. 2. There are many mosquitoes and insects on the island, so bring some mosquito repellent. Otherwise, you'll get bitten a lot at night. 3. When buying seafood, pay attention to the price and weight to avoid being overcharged. Zhoushan is a great place to relax and unwind.
