Zhoushan Kaiyuan Senbo Resort Hotel In-depth Experience During this Dragon Boat Festival holiday, we meticulously planned a spontaneous trip to the highly anticipated Zhoushan Kaiyuan Senbo Resort Hotel. To maximize the children's playtime, we decided to set off immediately after work on the last working day before the holiday, avoiding the peak travel rush. Transportation: Outbound: After leaving the city, the roads were relatively smooth. However, the congestion within Shanghai's inner ring gave us a 'rude awakening,' with about 45 minutes of waiting time adding a touch of anxiety to our excitement. Return: The return journey was even more tortuous. The slow traffic on the Hangzhou Bay Bridge was astonishing, taking a total of 6 hours to get back. Despite the fatigue, the warmth of returning home was palpable. Hotel: Upon stepping into the Zhoushan Kaiyuan Senbo Resort Hotel, we were surrounded by the enthusiasm of the staff. From the smiling service of the parking attendants to the warm greetings from every staff member we encountered in the guest rooms, their full enthusiasm and proactive greetings completely dispelled any previous concerns we might have had. This meticulous service made us feel the warmth of home. Water Park: Compared to the Moganshan Senbo Water Park we have visited multiple times, the water park in Zhoushan is more compact and exquisite, making it more suitable for young children to play in the water. However, for adults, the options for thrilling activities are relatively limited. Especially, the 'Big Horn' ride has strict weight restrictions (participants over 85 kg cannot participate), and the double slide requires a weight difference of no more than 5 kg between partners. These regulations somewhat limit the experience for adult visitors, particularly for couples traveling together. Nevertheless, after experiencing it firsthand, we found the thrill level of the 'Big Horn' ride to be higher than the Moganshan version. Indoor Playground: Since the family members accompanied the children to the indoor playground, we were unable to take photos ourselves. According to the children's feedback, the indoor playground is relatively limited in space and lacks highlight facilities such as the go-kart track found in the Moganshan indoor playground. Fortunately, the children used their creativity to play games like hide-and-seek, enjoying pure fun. Dining: During the holiday period, the breakfast time was crowded, but the hotel cleverly opened the second-floor restaurant as a supplement, effectively alleviating the queuing pressure. Despite the large number of family tourists, thanks to the hotel's reasonable arrangements, we quickly enjoyed a sumptuous buffet breakfast. Recommended Nearby Food: During our stay in Zhoushan, we highly recommend Gaojia Zhuang Seafood Restaurant. This old restaurant with over a decade of history has now developed into a large chain brand. We chose the flagship store closest to the Senbo Hotel, which boasts unique Zhoushan sea views. The private room service was attentive and detailed, and the seafood variety was rich and of high quality. Our continuous visits over two days allowed us to enjoy seafood freely, and even the children at home fell in love with delicacies like razor clams and sea clams. Finally, we look forward with great anticipation to the upcoming opening of the Jiaxing Senbo Resort Hotel, believing it will bring us an even richer and more colorful travel experience.
