Zhongwei Gaomiao Bao'an Temple

Zhongwei Gaomiao is located in the Gaomiao Scenic Area on Changcheng West Road in Shapotou District, Zhongwei City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. It is built on a high platform connected to the city wall (including Bao'an Temple under the high platform) and is a temple where three religions coexist. Zhongwei Gaomiao has three floors. All the buildings are symmetrical, gradually extending and rising, resembling a phoenix. The corners of the building are high and give people a sense of flying in the air. It embodies the characteristics of compactness, winding, and towering. It is a treasure in ancient Chinese architecture and is known as the "classic architecture of ancient temples in China" by the National Architectural Society.
