Strolling through the old town of Dalian, I accidentally stepped into the world of Hayao Miyazaki's animations

Dalian is truly a place where you can discover treasures just by walking around. 🏞️ Located in the Taoyuan community, the alley is not long, only about two or three hundred meters straight to the end. The murals are on the walls on both sides of the alley. Hidden on a quiet street in the old town, a branch where the afternoon sun shines on the window frames 🪟 wrapped in climbing ivy. There is no noise here, no influence from standardized building regulations, and each small house maintains its own appearance. It seems as if time has not passed, just like the memories from childhood. The murals were painted by students from a nearby art school. The youthful energy and enthusiasm are engraved on the walls through their brushes 🖌️, silently expressing their love in the quiet alley. Here, there are not only Hayao Miyazaki's works but also the nine-colored deer from the Classic of Mountains and Seas that saved countless lives, and the companions who grew up with us, teaching us love and warmth. The mythical figures from the Classic of Mountains and Seas are painted so impressively. It's amazing that such beautiful murals have been hidden in Dalian for so long without entering the public eye.
